Absolutely awful.I signed up with Animal Trust to a payment plan 3 weeks ago. I’ve never received details of the extras I get with that.Tried booking non-urgent appointment. Was on hold one hour and 34 minutes and they never answered. Gave up, rang emergency line & they said their non emergency number was down. Tried ringing today. After 2 hours and 10 minutes on hold - they put the phone down. They don’t even have a call queuing system. Answer me; why am I paying for a health plan that doesn’t exist? I can’t log in online and need to speak to them about that. The worse non existent service EVER. DO NOT SIGN UP TO ANIMAL TRUST
I gave 3 stars. Nice friendly staff I was worried about taking my baby for her nailstrimmingas she is a bit of a diva and has a nervous dispososition but she came out happy . I howevrt was a bit shocked at 22 quid for a nail trim all of 5 mins not a complaint just a shock at a not for profit establishment !!!!
Excellent vets!! What gets me mad is the horribleness, arrogance, rudeness from customers that think it's acceptable to speak to the staff like they own the place! 1. Your pet isnt the only animal that is unwell in this world! 2. Have abit of respect for the people that work at these vets working their a**es off to help your pet!3. Moaning about the cost of operations, medication & other procedures like the vets make these prices up?? They dont own the place, they work there! 3. Dont get a pet if you cant afford to take them to a vets when they get unwell! 🙄 The stories i hear about MOUTHY customers is unreal! Why dont you think to yourself how that person is feeling whilst your mouthing off at them. They could be suffering from mental health & you go in & make their day even worse by being a complete idiot! And no i do not work for these vets! I have had nothing but good experiences when taking my pets!
I paid for my cat to have dental surgery IN FULL. She was taken in on the day of supposed surgery then kept overnight as the day she was booked in they couldn’t do it. The next day she was given half the procedure and sent home. Rebooked in a month later to finish the procedure only to be told I had to pay for the surgery again! Have raised with complaints team and following procedures to take legal action as it was not stated at all that the cost would double or the treatment would be done in two halves. They claim to be not for profit but are extorting people who love their pets. The only response I got from Elle the vet was “sorry for the confusion” an offer to do the surgery at half the price. If this was the case it should of been half price originally for the first half of the procedure then the other half paid on the second half of the procedure. Daylight robbery and my cat has to suffer whilst the legalities are taken care of. Disgusting.
SuperbI rang Shrewsbury office at midnight in a fluster as my dog couldn't weight bear. They were calm, caring, kind and supportive, gave good advice and rang back an hour later to see if we had managed to follow their advice and if he was ok! I wish with all my heart that my other dog had had similar treatment she deserved from another emergency service. I can't thank Shrewsbury enough for their care.
My dog had 2 seizures in the morning so I called the vets to rush him in. We get an appointment for 13.15 the same day goes down to which my dog had had a seizure on the way down there. My dog was heavy panting in the waiting room and no clean water was available. The vet calls us in and I might as well have not of took him with me she weighed him and that was it prescribed him with k9 epilepsy and gave me a months supply of pills and sent us to pay the bill. I thought this was very strange no examination nothing. We come home and that evening he began to have more seizures phoned the vets back and rushed him back down. When we took him down at the night time the vet that treated him was lovely and feel she tried her best but sadly Ronnie ended up dying that night he was only 2 years old and I just can’t help but feel like this may of been prevented if the vet that seen us in the afternoon did more than just check his weight. I’m absolutely devastated and I wish I never changed his vets to begin with.
DONT USE THE BIRKENHEAD OR ELSEMEREPORT BRANCH RECEPTION STAFF ARE NOW QUALIFIED TO GIVE ADVICE ON ON ANIMALS AND DIAGNOSE AND TREATMENT PLANS OVER THE PHONE…. THE ADVICE WE WAS GIVEN WE ASSUMED WAS COMING FROM A VET OR FROM SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD AS THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY CONFIDENT WHEN TALKING TO US… UTIMATLY THE ADVICE WE WAS GIVEN ENDED UP PROVING FATAL TO OUR 5 MONTH OLD PUP….DEALING WITHE MANAGER OF THESE SITES PHILL MCGUNIGALL WAS ANOTHER BAD EXPERIENCE NO COMPASSION FROM HIM WHO HAS MORE EXPERIENCE LYING BEING DISHONEST AND A PERSON OF VERY LITTLE KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD HE WORKS IN…I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO AVOID USING ANY ANIMAL TRUST….I PERSONALLY HAVE RECORDINGS OF PHONE CONVERSATIONS WERE HE CLEARLY ADMITS LIABILITY BY STATING THE RECEPTIONIST WHO ADVISED US HAS NOW BEEN SACKED WHICH I FEEL HE SAID TO TRY GET ME OF HIS BACK… PHILL MCGUNIGALL IS NOT A TRUSTWORTHY PERSON NEITHER ARE THE STAFF WE DELT WITH… ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE HAVE LEFT ON ALL PLATFORMS RELEVANT TO THIS BUSINESSES AND YOU CSN CLEARLY SEE HOW POORLY RUN BY MANGERS LIKE PHILL ARE
** PLEASE ANYONE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO ANIMAL TRUST - DEWSBURY**Unable to give 0 stars!!! I took my cat in on Tuesday due to him not eating anything and been very week and barely moving and his breathing seemed abnormal. The vet basically didn't know what to do at first and was asking me what I'd like them to do.... when they should be the ones who are advising after I've told them the symptoms, they also never had a stethoscope to even check his breathing like usually vets do..They then just gave him an injection for pain relief and then let him go and said see how he gets on.He then deteriated massively Tuesday night so I took him back in and basically demanded to have him hospitalised because he couldn't walk nor eat or drink and was practically gasping for breath and they weren't doing anything about it.They then took him in and just kept him on a drip all day and then released him to me and said 'oh his breathings very heavy as he's just stressed'Then I took him back yesterday to have another day of hospital because it was getting worse, the vet STILL didn't know what to do with him so I said after the 3rd time of stating - he's struggling with his breathing, like he needs to be checked for this, I even have videos of dates and times on my phone that I had to get myself over the vet not listening or seeming to take note.So they suggested an ultra sound scan (god knows why) for his stomach to then notice there is LOTS of fluid in his lungs after the scan - they then said I could either take him home (WOW I know) or take him to an emergency vets for overnight stay if I can't monitor his breathing, which of course I chose due to his breathing.To then just get to another out of hours vets to be told 'he's critical', and they've had to place him in an oxygen tank straight away and that he should of been in there from the get go and should of had X-rays etc as it was clear he was gasping for air, and had been for 3 days at home whilst I was trying to get the vet at animal trust to listen to me and take it seriously.I'm actually mortified at the fact my cat wasn't so bad a few days ago to now find out due to him not getting the care he needed, he's now critical and the fact NO ONE advised this to me or seemed to even notice or care at this practice.The other vet was absolutely appalled herself. I'm Honestly heart broken but I just cannot stress enough how much of a worse nightmare it has been dealing with the vets at Animal Trust and I will do all I can to make sure EVERYONES knows not to use that place again.This will be getting investigated and with a formal complaint. I have told my insurance company to hold of making any payments. I'm not paying almost £1500 for the inadequate care he received. This practice needs looking into. SERIOUSLY!!
