Can never get in touch with them. They don't answer the phone. Never any appointments. Not suppose to charge consultation fees but the antibiotics I got were nearly £50. Could of got them from the internet for £12.Not really very helpful at all.
We had to have our beautiful staffy Spud put to sleep a couple of weeks ago, the staff were so lovely and compassionate, we cannot thank you enough, we chose to keep her ashes and we have just collected them, presented in a lovely box with her name engraved, thank you
Was flabbergasted to be told by the Blackburn surgery that if they had to admit my dog for 2 nights observation (one night was not an option) it would cost almost £600.00.Update: further to the reply below to my negative comment, I was told the admission would be for ‘observation’ and no mention was made of tests or any treatment.
Recently registered at animal trust as my previous vet was completely useless during lockdown. My partners dog passed away due to the same horrible practice letting him down constantly. Nothing but praise for animal trust. Registered, booked an appointment and seen within 24 hours. Reception staff are lovely and friendly, compassionate and reassuring and the vets are just brilliant. Just straight to the point no messing. Listen to what you’re saying and want to know as much about your pet as possible. My beautiful little fox dog had antibiotics for a week then it became apparent she needed an op. Within a week it was arranged and as distressing as it was they supported us fully. My beautiful little girl is recovering well and a lot better and the vets called tonight to check her and book in follow up treatment. Cannot fault them at all. Wonderful people, working for a wonderful cause. Thank you so so much xxx
After reading the reviews on here I was worried I’d sent my dog to the wrong place. However I needn’t have worried as Ruby got 5 star treatment when having a dental clearance. Special thanks to the two Shannon’s, one for the thorough hand over I received when collecting Ruby and the other for all the TLC that Ruby received in her care. The receptionist was polite and helpful, the vet herself was very nice. My only complaint is the length of time it takes to answer the phone, obviously a very busy vets.
My dogs lead was given to another dog by mistake. Black with a whistle tied to it. From 27 Feb to 2nd March. I want it back for sentimental reason. You know its not yours. Just think if you lost your dog after a week of the vets doing every thing in their power to save your dog, you would want your dogs things, I'm grieving I need it back .i see animal trust can't leave any feed back about this. See animal trust can't or should I say won't reply to this.. all they have to do is phone whos dog was with them from 27 th feb to 2nd of march people that left their dog with them and ask if they have got the wrong lead
We have used this vet for over 10 years, and recommended them to countless pet owners. However after the way the receptionist spoke to me today, I left in tears, I will never step foot in the place again.I have already registered all of our animals with another practice.
