Georgina at the Failsworth branch.

Georgina at the Failsworth branch.. wow! I honestly cant say how amazing she is. We brought our dog Bebe in and she instantly treated her like her own. The relaxed friendly approach and her mannerisms won my dog (and us) over instantly. Please can we have 10 Georginas.. a huge huge thankyou!!!!

my dog needed TPLO surgery

my dog needed TPLO surgery, this organisation were offering same operation half the price from practices near me even after we travelled almost 200 miles. X-rays were done at an additional cost, then operation. Communication after this was supposed to be weekly via email, I did this reply’s were received often taking a few more days, then we took him for 6 weeks post operation. They were happy with him, we had a little setback at 8 weeks emailed and sent pictures/recording of him again a reply was received. I emailed at 11.5 weeks just to check where we were with nearing end of recovery- not a thing received back.Very annoying

Barnsley Branch Animal Trust

Barnsley Branch Animal Trust, took dog for skin allergy. Prescribed steroids which he did actually need. But then Vet drew attention quickly to small growth on his leg and advised £520 for removal or £160 for biopsy. Went ahead with biopsy which became £182 payment for biopsy and later results came back inconclusive. Quered overcharge of biopsy. Vet never rang. No contact from surgery. Veterinary nurse rang 10 days later pushing for another biopsy £182 or £520 removal. I said could it be inconclusive again? She said " Yes ". Disgusting service all round. Wasn't interested in pet or owner. Surgery and Vet just kept pushing for more money. Avoid these Vets at all costs. DISGUSTING. Vets had results after 7 days, and never rang, I chased up 3 times. Finally rang after 10 days. So much for concern of owners worrying about their pets. That Vets bothered about money what I was gunna pay NEXT!! Shower of shite Animal Trust in barnsley. Had test done thinking it may be Cancer. No empathy one bit was given, no update, nor nothing. They said inconclusive to basically make more money. Had I known I'd have never gone there !!!!!!!

Ollie’s final moments.

We need to express our gratitude to the Animal Trust Knotty Ash practice. Our little family member Ollie was sadly put to sleep. He gave us 16 years of pure joy and in his last moments, the team at Knotty Ash made a very painful decision very comforting. The empathy and consultation was second to none. We had a private family room to say our goodbyes with as much time as we needed. The whole practice is immaculate and welcoming without judgement and thankful to say, no hyper inflated charges. We were all more than happy with our decision to use this practice for Ollie’s departure. Thank you all at the Animal Trust.

ZERO Stars - Your Pet is their Cash Cow

The Animal Trust Vets is a scam by the Cambridge educated founder Owen Monie who has set up Vet Surgeries in poor areas where people will have lower education levels regarding medical ailments for their pets where this can be exploited.I took my dog there 5 times, the first time cost me £150 which I discovered from another Vet in another practice months later that my dog had an allergy and didn't need any medication at the outset, only a change of food, but this was never mentioned by any of the Vets at Animal trust. All they did was squeeze me for money, almost £100 each time and tried to get me to pay £420 for a diagnostics package. Each Vet tried every time to get me to have the diagnostics, attempting to play on my fears, but my spidy senses perked up as it didn't seem right. They also wouldn't answer my questions about allergies etc, because they kept pushing the £420 package. It appears that now with hindsight that the Vets must be on financial incentives for their salary just like any Salesperson. The 350+ people on here which make up the 60% of NEGATIVE 1 star reviews over 3+ years says everything. Owen Monie should be investigated by Panorama or other bodies. Only recently I looked into the Animal Trust Vets and discovered that Owen Monie's first practice he set up he sold and made a good profit after just 3 years. He then set up RUMBRY LIMITED in 2012 to establish and build up a number of Vet Practices to then sell on as a major profit. If you google 'Owen Monie Animal Trust Vets facebook' there is a recent video in which he details this, but he also lies too, as he states that he set up Animal trust Vets in 2012, but this is a lie. He changed the name of Rumbry Limited in 2019 to Animal Trust Vets LIMITED (for-profit) but then decided to flip it into a non-profit in 2020 where he could still receive a £250,000 a year salary but apply for grants from the government to fund, build Vets Surgeries. One of his practices was given £700,000 by the Welsh Government to establish one in a poor area. After looking into this, it appears that his 'vision' is to build up Animal Trust Vets up to say 50 practices and then he will flip the business model back to a for-profit and sell the business for a huge profit. This can be done with the regulators if his Vets Surgeries are no longer serving the public need, which by the reviews on this site, it clearly isn't. Animal trust Vets currently has over £8 million in assets and over £3.25 million in cash assets and generates over £1 million in NET profit last year. How do they make so much profit, by training their Vets to treat every sick animal as a cash cow. If you dont believe me, look at their accounts. Only took me half an hour to get the above information and after being advised wrongly by Animal Trust Vets 5 times, my dog needed medication to repair the damage caused by an allergy (food) which they wouldn't diagnose without me spending £420, and I changed his food, and he's fine. If I kept on going there, my dog will still be ill to this day, costing me a small fortune. Bad for me, great for them, especially Owen Monie.
