Cannot fault the Shrewsbury Animal Trust, fantastic service by all nurses and vets. My 6yr old beagle was taken poorly all of a sudden. When I took her to Shrewsbury, they told me that she had pyometra. The vet who attended to us was so kind and explained the seriousness of her condition, which was diagnosed around 4/5 pm. By early morning, she had undergone her operation. and was home with us by 5 pm. Thank you all at Shrewsbury Animal Trust.
I went to the Dewsbury animal trust centre where you ring up and book an appointment and they were fabulous from the moment I rang to the point of seeing the vet and getting The persciption for my dog. Before that i had tried for an online appointment and it just didnt happen, but it wasnt with the Dewsbury vets, but some other one I was not quite sure where. I also tried to book with Barnsley online but that didnt happen either. They were spot on at Dewsbury and thank you for looking after myself nad my Pet.
I cannot for one minute express my annoyance, I took my dog from another vet practice because all they cared about was money registered him with the animal trust in my local area. They booked him in for a dental which we had to wait weeks for , my dog has already been traumatised by the other vets so I get worried and upset also and he is in discomfort with his teeth so really needed it done. We arrived 15 minutes before and i received a email cancelling his appointment 10 minutes before his appointment. This is totally unacceptable and incompetent and then because I was upset and annoyed the receptionist told me to speak to her better. I was not rude or shouting or anything like that, the reason for the cancellation was SHORT STAFF so now my poor dog has to wait another 3 weeks in discomfort and this place is meant to care for animals. Prior preparation prevents a poor performance and this Barnsley animal trust definitely performs poorly. You cannot even make a complaint because it doesn’t work on their website very convenient.
My dog had an operation today at the Animal Trust in Bolton. She's an old lady of 14 1/2 but as a cross breed she's fit and healthy for her age. Their top vet removed a horrible growth from her back leg.The vets are highly qualified and experienced and have a superb manner with not only their patients but with the owners. They listen, they explain the pets condition and the treatments they need, as well as the estimated costs involved. I received a phone call this afternoon from the nurse who looked after my little dog. She told me how well she'd got through her surgery and that she's woken up really well after the anaesthetic. She was so reassuring and understood how worried I had been feeling. This practice saved the life of one of my dogs who has a very rare disease. They gave his mother the quality of life she deserved with a surgery that turned her back into a puppy in spirit. Now they have operated on my little old girl to make her life so much more comfortable and normal than it would have been without her surgery. With the best staff and state of the art diagnostics as well as their not for profit status, this practice is unbeatable for quality of care and pricing. The vets and nurses and supporting staff obviously love the animals they treat and want to do everything they can to give them and their owners the best of the best care. I have waffled on but I really cannot praise the Animal Trust, Bolton enough.
Absolute Rip Off always waiting at least 30 mins then they charge excessive amounts for medication which you can buy online for 80% cheaper.One item eye drops is available on NHS so that would have been free but no these thieves charge me £50 plus £40 for the other item!I asked for refund they they won't budge!
My experience with this practice was not a good one. The vets were lovely but the reception staff were not. Every time I went to get my dogs written prescription they got it wrong and I had to wait for the vet to print it out. The last time was the worst, I was left at reception for ten minutes while they had a conversation between themselves, I had to interrupt them to ask for my prescription. Overall a poor experience.
Animal trust Barnsley Tried booking appointment but wouldn’t be able to see her for 10 days so paid for emergency appointment.The vet said she would need treatment quickly and would be in touch following dayDidn’t receive a phone call for 3 days so contacted them,receptionist said he would talk to the vet and get straight back to me,Lord behold never bothered to contact me
I really can't fault the care my dog received at the Birkenhead Animal Trust vets. Every member of staff we have encountered have been so kind and helpful. Our dog has diabetes and will need life long medicine. There would be no way we could afford this if we were with other local vets and our only choice would have been to put him to sleep. I cant thank them enough.
Outstanding, that's my initial thought. We took our Cockapoo (Narla) along for a initial consultation with regards to her teeth and oral disease to Animal Trust in Birkenhead. A few days later we returned for her dental treatment at 08.45 in the morning, I was called at 13.00 to she was all done and that the had removed 20 teeth and removed all the plaque, I could collect her at 14.00The team were professional and caring,I can't thank them enough. ,
