Review Time
Woeful service. Waited 14 days for a delivery that was supposed to take 3-5 days. Was told twice to have someone at home to receive the delivery which didn't turn up. 2 wasted days. Told on the phone yesterday that the driver would be there soon. He got here today. Ridiculous
I ordered something from a local Irish retailer and got a notification that it was posted with GLS. Tracking number says it was out for delivery yesterday and today and despite being home all day, no sign of any GLS van! I do pretty much all my shopping online and have never come across any retailer using GLS before (I wonder why!?)... I would definitely never buy again from any retailer using GLS as their courier! Meanwhile DPD and AnPost still delivers reliable overnight here up to Xmas, no bother.

Second Time this happened. The GLS driver calls me to say that he hasn‘t seen my parcel in his van and that he is now about 10km away and that he will drop it in a „Point Relay“ for me to pick it up. I tell him that I don‘t agree and ask him to deliver it to me the next day. He drops it in the Point Relay anyway and now I have to drive 10km to pick it up. I am paying for a delivery to my home and GLS has done this twice now with me. Stop this practice and hire reliable drivers. I‘ve had enough of this bad customer service from GLS.
