Don’t buy Asko. Our steam combo oven developed a fault; technician found steam unit had leaked into kitchen cabinetry.Part supposedly repaired after much to-ing and fro ing with emails and follow ups from us. Fault reappeared. More emails and phone calls trying to get action-other problems with oven evident. Asko offered us a 30%discount off our next Asko product as compensation. Went back to Asko and were told take it or leave it. Ha! As if we would ever buy Asko again! What a joke!
Do not purchase ASKO, I purchased the steel seal Washing Machine from ASKO, from day one the front door has leaked, I have endured multiple repair call outs, endless calls and emails to the service centre, with no resolution. I understand the call centre is based in Serbia and does not facilitate customer complaints. There is actually no recourse or contact details for customer complaints on the ASKO site, the service centre being the only outlet for contact. There is also no avenue for escalating an issue with a faulty product. Beware of purchasing ASKO, if there is a fault with your product there is no support, no customer complaints site or recourse available. Beware ASKO support and service is very much a SCAM.
Great products if you could get them shipped to you. Ours seem to have been lost in transit. Asko blames Harvey Norman, and Harvey Norman blames Asko. Both blame transport companies. No one takes responsibility. Have heard every BS excuse. Do not buy from this company. You might never receive the product.
My dishwasher wouldn’t close so I contacted Asko service centre who sent a technician. He immediately identified the problem as a screw that was out of alignment. He said he’d seen this before on other dishwashers. Clearly a design fault. He tightened the screw and left. He was in and out in 5 minutes. It cost me $134.97. I asked Asko to consider charging less or to call me. They refused. I believe that this is outrageous and very poor customer service.
My machine is less 12 months old . Paddles on these machines become dirty underneath they need to be removed cleaned . The quality of the plastic is horrendous. Each prong is delicate and breaks . My spare paddle arrived broken after 15 days no washing machine . To have paddle recived today broken is extremely unsatisfactory. The management is major issue not staff on phones . Do self favour by another brand .
Second time replacing the control panel because the screen is not sealed. Massive amounts of condensation between inside and outside door panels which is what is causing the control panel to short out. Factory rep has no answers and is completely worthless. Avoid ASKO products like the plague!!!!
We bought a top end dishwasher. It was installed by their technicians and it didn't work straight away so we called them back and they confirmed a machine fault. Asko made us wait to get a second lot of technicians to confirm that their own technicians were right about the machine being faulty. My partner called them and they were incredibly rude and condescending. Absolutely atricious. Also, it has been a month and we're still waiting for them to pick up the machine and subsequent refund. Absolutely would avoid at all costs.
In my opinion the Asko brand is a front for a third world, third rate company. The product I received is complete with manufacturing defects and the after sales service is worse than what one gets with a low end Chinese manufacturer. At least the Chinese replace their crap without an argument. Corresponding with Asko’s staff is a complete waste of time as the have little to no product knowledge and a lesser command of English.Do yourself a favour and buy something else.
Bought the washing machine (ASKO-W4086C) in August, delivery/install date passed without any communication, called them and they informed me there were no products in Australia yet (thanks for letting me know!). Eventually we get an install date, they turn up but don't have what they need for the install, then they turn up unnanounced one morning when I am about to leave for school run...then it takes several calls and eventually a couple weeks later it's installed. During the one-man install he cracks a laundry floor tile, have been trying to get some resolution for weeks now...THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE...wish I bought a MIELE!
