Paid premium price poor quality and support

Paid premium price for what I thought was a premium product. Basically just out of warranty. $2.5k Dishwasher - Pump fails….dont stock the parts for a still current/ sold product, just expected to wait months for parts to come from overseas.Failure looks like a design flaw as well.I’d think twice. Premium price which in my case had a super below poor lifespan and in the end no reasonable way to service due to unavailability of parts.

Do not buy this product!

If I could, I would give it 0 points. This product is a huge disappointment. The cleaning system is terrible. You can't properly clean the oven, and when you cook with steam, all the uncleaned dirt ends up in your food. If you clean it after every use to avoid food contamination, you’ll end up damaging several functions. In my case, the cleaning system no longer works at normal temperature, and the temperature sensor is broken.And finally, the worst part—I tried contacting a repair team. It costs $200 just for them to come and diagnose the issue, another $200 for them to return with the replacement part, plus the cost of the repair and the defective part itself. Seriously? I might as well add $200 more and get a new oven!My advice? Do not buy this product. Never ever.

Absolutely disgraceful company

Absolutely disgraceful company, we bought an oven and within 18 months the enamel started to crack, they blamed us???? They NEVER reply to emails, NEVER return calls!! They will not give us managers names or numbers. I will bad mouth this company to everyone who asks. This review is a minus

DO NOT PURCHASE ASKO

If you are reading this, I would strongly urge you NOT to purchase any ASKO product. Note how many terrible reviews there are!No customer service or care and products are below average at best. I purchased a premium dishwasher which after only 5 years (outside of warranty by 2 months) has completely stopped working, ASKO's service team noted that due to the 'age' of the appliance they are not able to assist with fixing - despite the issue being a major fault.I would strongly encourage others to report issues to the ACCC and your state-based consumer protection body. There is a really good guide on warranties and refunds available on the ACCC and helpful links to make complaints.

Wish I could score these cowboys 0These products are rubbish. My washing machine makes loud noises, called customer service they sent me a third party guy he didn't even test my washing machine but charged me $120 in 3 mins..If my machine is making loud noises why wasn't it tested and why was I charged $120. Called customer service - couldn't care less. Beware. DO NOT PURCHASE

Terrible service

Highly do not recommend to anyone to buy from Asko - especially dishwasher from our experience. Totally regret buying an Asko dishwasher. Word around was they are one of the top reliable brand for white goods. They were regarded to be reliable for over 20 yrs. Well not any more apparently. Our lasted four years with major faults. We contacted customer service and after 14 emails, they finally got back to us, telling us that it's supposed to last more than 4 yrs but they can't help. Obviously they only good for their warranty period. The repair person too told us that he used to recommend asko to all his customers but not anymore from from he has in his factory. Apparently, new company running it doesnt believe in quality. So no more asko products for me.

Awful service

Awful service. I bought a rangehood from the Good Guys in November 2024. When I received it home, it was not the correct size (the technician took 1 look at the box and said it wouldn't fit, so we didn't open it). I called ASKO on 25th November, and asked for a refund, and "Carlos" said he would send out a technician to see if they could install it for me, asked for me to send photos through email, I got no response on that day. I sent a follow up email the following day, 26th November, and I received a bounce back. My partner called ASKO on the 25th November, and they said they don't have an installation team, and offered us a refund and said they would send us an email. A week went by, and no email. I called them back, and received the email. I submitted the refund request, and a week later after no response, I called them, and they booked in a time to collect the rangehood. It was picked up on the 19th December. I am yet to receive a refund, after 4 more phone calls, ASKO keep telling me there is issues with the delivery and warehouse, they have marked it as priority. It has now been 7 weeks since my product has been picked up, and no resolution. My next action is to call Fair Trading.I will never buy ASKO again.

Don't touch them, by something else.

Machine died within 7 days and they would not accept the machine was essentially dead on arrival. Despite several direct requests to replace the machine or allow me to escalate the matter to a Manager, they will not escalate your concern, instead advising you there isn't a manager. We are engaging Consumer Affairs to investigate their business operation and are preparing a claim with the Magistrate in order to recover our purchase price and warranty. I wouldn't recommend this company or their product to anyone.

0 stars. Buyers beware- faulty oven for over 6 months and still not repaired. Asko are slow and unresponsive. After approx 5 months of waiting I asked to speak with the service manager and I was refused they said “sorry I can’t”. I don’t request to speak to managers ever, literally the first time in my life because they sent the incorrect part to the technician, which took months for the technician to even receive.Still waiting for it to be fixed….. The correct part took another month, and it’s still not working despite that part being successfully installed now. Same issues with the oven becoming unresponsive during use and turning itself off. Not even a simple apology for the inconvenience has been had from Asko.Avoid at all cost. Will never buy anything Asko for the remainder of my life and will also advise others to avoid.Imagine not being able to use a brand new oven for 6 months which costed over $3,000 brand new.

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service. Several booked deliveries just didn’t show up, sent the wrong dryer and then still haven’t processed my refund (a week later) when I gave up with the whole process. Actually shocked at how bad their service has been - so many wasted hours on the phone to them and still haven’t got my money back despite being promised last week.
