Mark is an excellent tutor. He is so helpful whenever there are any queries and explains everything so well. He is also very engaging and his lessons are never boring!! I always come out of a tutor session more confident than when I came in because of how Mark explains everything.
Struggling with my last unit, i have been asking and resubmitting since Beginning of February 2025 and STILL its getting rejected. My tickets get closed so i cant reply even though my issues are not resolved. I have asked for a teams meeting with my tutor and this has not happened. I have been told my portal closes on 17/04/2025 and i have to pay £50 to keep it open... The rejections on my last assessment seem like excuses to get an extra £50 out of me, first my interview link doesn't work, then i am over the word count, then I've used the wrong assessment number, then I have used red strikethrough instead of Black, then I have to write my 3rd attempt word count in green, what's next???? No real help from humans at all. Tried the Ava tool on t he learning hub and she's as useless as a chocolate teapot!!!! IF I manage to achieve my level 3 qualification I certainly will not be doing my level 5 through AVADO - seems like its excuse after excuse for rejecting my last unit and no help at all!!!!
Michael Ranft has been super helpful and supportive throughout my CIPD course. His feedback is clear and easy to follow, and he always takes the time to explain things in a way that makes sense. Really appreciate the guidance—thanks for making things less stressful!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed studying Level 5 CIPD in People Management with Avado. I did the Level 3 with Avado in 2017 and the learning journey has improved so much since. My main tutor was Britt who was brilliant in guiding through the questions and giving real-life examples to help understand and apply knowledge. Britt was helpful in providing wider reading links and keeping learners up to date on the forum, and replying to individual questions. I had one unit where I wanted to discuss marker feedback before deciding next steps so Britt jumped on a 1:1 call with me - these are kept short due to her supporting other cohorts etc but really appreciated the time. Some units were covered by Mark who was excellent too, Mark always had a story to tell which helped to apply the knowledge to the question. The learning hub is easy to use and it’s all self-directed learning so super flexible. I didn’t often make the live tutor sessions or cohort cafes but was able to watch them back whenever suited me. I feel like I’ve learnt so much and better equipped in my HR position - highly recommend this course and Avado!
I have just completed my level 5 course with Mark as my main tutor and also Britt, that covered a few units. Both tutors were absolutely amazing and super quick with responding to queries. Mark even responded and closed a query before the automatic reply came through to say I logged it, which is amazing! I am a bit of an over-thinker so their quick responses made me feel a lot better! All sessions were very informative and helped me pass 4/7 assessments first time!The only downside I would say would be the marking process, depending on when you submit an assignment, you can sometimes be waiting up to 2 weeks for a result to come through which can be frustrating. Markers are also very strict and sometimes contradict each other, an example being myself getting a turnitin score of 49% on one assessment, being passed first time for it but then down the line getting a score of 31% on another assessment and being told to rewrite the whole answer in my own words.Overall though, I would recommend Avado to anyone wishing to take a CIPD course. The cohort option definitely kept me on track, otherwise I’d still be completing everything now!
I enrolled for level 3 Foundation Certificate in People's Practice (professional course, not lite self-guided) and I have to admit I'm very impressed with the quality of tutor support sessions and learning materials AVADO provides for their students. Big shout out to Reem for being extremely supportive, thorough, educating and just lovely. She really cares about the students and gives us guidance to help us navigate through the assessments. No question is a stupid question, she encourages us to ask and share our thoughts so she knows where are we at. She is quick to respond to queries. Massive thank you to Elbin from Student Success Team to help me transfer from February to April cohort due to medical issues. He was extremely kind and waived the fees for me. I strongly recommend AVADO. Tutor support sessions are recorded so u can watch them ant any time is convenient for you (presence is not mandatory).
