I live in the US. I ordered red cowrie. When I received the cowrie all the paint was coming off. I wanted to return for a refund, but they wouldn’t. They offered me a coupon for half the price of the order. I wanted to return for a refund. They then offered a $7 coupon. I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere with them so I accepted. They also told me I could paint all the cowrie red. They have good prices, but not great customer service or return policies. I’m very unhappy. I’m still waiting on my coupon and after leaving this review who knows if they’ll fill their end of the deal
If this company had better customer services, they would get a 5 star rating from me. But, their customer services are so terrible, I only gave them a 4. Take your time choosing your items because sending them back is an expensive nightmare and/or you'll be put through endless, frustrating emails trying to secure a refund, which you'll likely not get. On the plus side, the quality of almost all items is outstanding. Many of the gemstone chip strands are the best I've ever seen and the crackle beads are great. It's hit and miss buying crystal beads as inadequate packaging damages some - request better packaging and they might do it (because sometimes they say they will, and then don't) - but the undamaged ones can be truly stunning. Glass pearls are excellent quality when you buy strands rather than the bulk options, many of which have peeling paint. Wait until they have a sale + reduced shipping fees and buy in bulk - this is the cheapest way to get your orders. The prices are very competitive and reasonable - compare them to Amazon, for example, and the difference is huge (but shipping, taxes and customs charges can seriously reduce that gap). The packaging is almost always very good and secure and as long as you haven't chosen any out of stock items or other issues requiring you to deal with customer services, you'll get your parcel in a reasonable amount of time. But if you've got to deal with their customer services department, you have my sympathy.
I never usually leave reviews…but I’ve had such an awful experience with this company! I placed an order for £300 over a month ago and paid for express delivery (an extra £20). I didn’t receive any updates at all and still do not have my order - I’ve reached out multiple times and received the same copy and pasted reply. It’s just been a huge waste of money. Steer clear!
Apart from no communication from the company what so ever, nor even an email to let me know of delays. The shipping was cheaper with fedex than DHL and cheap in price. Would buy again. Would give 5* if they had a translation representative to reassure customers about products and deliveries.
