The Sea Hotel South Shields

We booked to stay in after a relative recommended after our local changing hands.The hotel staffs were very positive and friendly and welcoming on arrival and departure.The room was spacious, clean and warm, and ok modernization maybe required however at the end of the day the bushiness' are only just getting back to normal after the last two years, it was very clean and friendly never the less and the cleaners and room cleaners were there daily.The food was amazing and the breakfast included was worth it.would Definitely recommend a stay if your visiting the area.

We stayed overnight at Flitwick Manor…

We stayed overnight at Flitwick Manor hotel and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were amazing from the warm welcome on arrival and exceptional service in the restaurant. The standard of food in the restaurant was very high. We had a lovely meal as was breakfast the next morning. Thanks particularly to Charlotte. The service in the restaurant was outstanding.

DO NOT STAY at craiglands in Ilkley over…

Stayed at the craiglands in Ilkley over the weekend. Honestly the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Room was cramped, damp, carpet was filthy. Kept awake all night by very loud wedding reception and noisy guests, once this eventually settled down, we were woken in the morning by water pouring through the ceiling.Had also booked the spa and treatments only to find the spa closed with no warning and money lost for treatments. Would never go back and will never use this chain again.

Had a brilliant stay

Had a brilliant stay at Best Western Retford, staff are very helpful and polite. The food was outstanding! Rooms are spacious and really warm. We will return again.

Unable to attend a booking in June due…

Unable to attend a booking in June due to illness and will not refund. Full payment taken. London Victoria Hotel, operations manager not interested at all. Don't even think they read my email as had to chase and bog standard robotic response. They do not care about people at all. Please don't book these hotels absolute daylight robbery!!!!

Bar Hill - quite the most ignorant and useless BW I have ever been to, what a pity, because the other Best Westerns have been, well, practical but serviceable, nothing bad: this place is simply to be avoided, 'nuff said. Go there at your peril.

Best Western Ilford

Booked a weekend stay at Best Western Ilford, as it was close to a friends 50th birthday on the Saturday night in November 2021. We trained down to avoid the hassle of driving, and headed out to the hotel from central London.Opening the door to our room we were rather shocked. It seemed we had been placed in a room with a double mattresses on the floor (!) and a skylight for only daylight. The velux skylight didn’t want to open and had a mouldy paper shade over it which didn’t move either.The bathroom was a mess and no where near what I expected for £135 for two nights.We immediately realised this was not the place to stay and booked in to the local Travelodge (clean, and reasonable) and duly left.Following my complaint to Best Western Ilford, I was not offered full refund of the £135, but they suggested 50% was suitable. Six weeks later I have had nothing.Can’t really say much more but I would seriously look elsewhere if you want a stay in Ilford! The Travelodge is quite good 👍 Won’t be using Best Westerns again.

Excellent christmas break

Had an excellent stay christmas and boxing day stay at BW Plus Dover Marina Hotel and Spa. Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Our room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and had a balcony with a wonderful sea view. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!
