Review Time
I have a Rolex I want to sell. Reason, I found my days are numbered. I found Bob's Watches on the internet. Complied with there website and selling my watch. I disclosed everything I could think of about the watch. I lost the box and the paperwork. I get a quote and in fine print, "may be increased if diamonds, or decreased if no box and depending on condition. Photos show the diamond dial, and I already mentioned no box or paperwork. I also mentioned that the screws in the bracelet need to be replaced. I emailed back explaining this and said I wanted to speak to them. No return call just the same quote. Well have we already deducted for no box and paperwork? I mean that can be done prior to sending watch. Is this the best price already because I doubt they are giving a quote to then get the watch and are going to say, "hey, it has a diamond dial, we want to increase our offer." Before I ship watch to you I want you to know at minimum you will need to replace screws in the bracelet. Seems to me an adjustment in price could be made with that info and then a statement, "we will need to reduce our quote by xxx because of the worn screws we may need to reduce by more should we find more damage to bracelet." Whereas they would not call me I called them. I was told the guy I got email from was out to lunch. He will call you when he gets back. No return call but that evening another email, "we sent you a quote". I sent yet another email, " I would like to speak to you. I want us both to be transparent prior to sending watch. Two days later I get another email, "we sent you a quote for $4390. Let me know and give me your address I will send you a shipping label. I have made everything transparent on my end and they refuse to speak about their offer. "Ok if $4390 is firm lets do it". I gave them my address and never heard back. Something is fishy.

It's important to use a trusted site when purchasing anything of significance. I was contacted both my email and phone when I inadvertently entered my order twice, so excellent customer service to catch bumble fingers. The watch arrived the next day as promised and in just the condition described. Definitely the site to use for luxury watch purchases.
The photos and description of the watch on the web page were accurate, the purchase process was very smooth, the shipping was quick after payment, and the packaging was careful and safe. I am very happy with everything, including the watch I purchased. I didn't need it this time, but I think they will respond politely to inquiries about purchasing.
