It’s been a big help and kindness of such good or excellent help from your team .Your team helped me understand what was wrong and what to do .Than checked the whole home to make sure I was safe .Also made me know if I needed help to get intouch asp.The voucher I used to get a meal at Morrison Than sent me a cheque ,it was so beautiful to know people care .Thank you so much,much appreciated.Thank you.

Slow. Useless. Pointless.

Been digging up random holes outside the Three Ponds pub in Kimberley for weeks. 6 weeks in total it will take. They have shut off half the road, causing delays for 20 mins.Fine. I get it. BUT, what I don't get is why every time I drive by, on a good day, one person is working. Most days NOBODY is even working. Just left empty. Summarizes this country at the moment, 6 weeks for 1 man to work 1-3 days a week to dig a few holes. When did it get to this point we can't even get a job done quickly. Other countries will have just cracked on and got this done in a few days. Pathetic. All because they want to do it on the cheap.

What a joke

From start to nearly finish, chaos. Been 5 weeks digging holes in our lane. A week were we had to leave our cars any where except our driveways. Cadent digging holes willy nilly, site men being shocked by live mains after digging into an electric cable. Our electricity going on and off. One worker so I belive has got 18 months for robbing a,cash machine. How nice. Mud on driveways and Lane for 5 weeks. Work looked finished earlier this week, but still haven't collected the barriers and mounds of mud left. Shocking customer service. Workmen seen chucking there rubbish from there vans on our lane. I think next week I will get health and safety executive involved. No compensation. Nothing. All i ever get is "we are sorry for the inconvenience " And this is only half the story.

Iv been seriously let down by 1 of your…

Iv been seriously let down by 1 of your engineers specifically a Danny Tyler I think its deplorable that he put my life at risk and my niece who is a singer was here on her way back home from Paris not to mention my neighbours in my block I know its staggering to think that someone in such a responsible job would be so quick, lax,and irresponsible all he had to do was connect and tighten pipe ...haste makes waste I am not leaving it because I'm concerned that,he can no longer do his job adequately so he needs to be doing something eles if he hasn't already caused an Explosion just by the grace of God I'm here writing this he needs to go to blasé here's a simple mistake but you know what I mean blasé.A

Work done in area

We are having work.done in out area , it happens , but I am disabled with a mo ility scooter so my only option is too go down the grass , which I can't do has there is bollards at bottom blocking , I tried to speak with 2 workmen who completely disregarded me , my partner had to struggle and lift my scooter up over path with my 81 year old dad 😡workmen didn't even try and offer a solution

Reporting smell of gas

After smelling gas and reporting, Cadent arrived within the hour. A very thorough inspection was carried out. The contractor explained what he was doing at all times and kept reassuring when needed. He explained the outcome and provided heaters after capping gas. Very good customer service. Thank you

Came out to the property within 2hrs of my call of concern, were very helpful in checking all was OK and nothing to be concerned about and even supplied a heater to keep my family warm while we waited for housing to arrange for boiler to be repaired

Excellent assistance, quick response

I had to have a gas fire removed as the flue was not working well enough to support the exhaust fumes from the fire. The gas supply at the hearth was capped off. The gas engineer was gas safe registered and a reputable local businessman.Initially I thought I was wrong about the smell of gas as it wasn’t always evident. However, on Saturday I had left the living room door closed whilst I went out and when I walked in after it being shut for several hours I definitely smelt gas. Not an overwhelming smell but just a very slight amount.I called the emergency number 0800111999 and was dealt with very professionally by a lady on the phone. She was very kind and efficiently talked me through what to do, shutting off the gas, opening doors and windows etc.About 20 minutes later the Cadent gas engineer arrived, his name was Chris. He was immediately checking levels as he walked in and through the house. The levels were very very low and so I could close the windows and doors.Chris was absolutely marvellous he reassured me that I had done the right thing calling and set about doing a variety of checks.It may sound silly but it can be difficult sometimes to make the decision when action needs to be taken, especially as the smell had been intermittent. It was good to be reassured I had done the right thing.Chris was very kind and very personable, chatting away to me and explaining in detail both what he needed to do and what had happened.He was respectful of my home, wearing overshoes inside the house and using cover sheets to kneel on and to put his bag and tools on.I hope that if there is a recognition system within Cadent that Chris is put forward for some reward as he excellently performed his role, fixed the problem and left me very reassured that everything was sorted with more checks after the work was done.Thank you all for your assistance, I am truly very grateful.
