This is clearly a scam for them to make money from a product that doesn't work at all. I bought a license for Audi and I tried to code the lights on my Audi A6 and it just keeps giving me an error and failing. I tried customer support to help me, and the response was simply that it didn't work and they couldn't do anything about it. It's a complete money-making scheme, and after I asked for a full or partial refund, they simply replied that no, it was my problem... Would give 0 starts if I could. Their scanner is practically useless, slower than slow - want to scan your car? You’ll be waiting 15 minutes. No it is not my scanner they have sent me multiple, no it is not my car I have tried on several. If you want to cancel your renewal then good luck they hide their shady business practices behind their “German rental law”

Run to another company. This one stinks.

Where to start. Bought direct from mycarly. No mention of a reoccurring subscription. So paid what I thought was a one time fee. Scanner comes in and right off the start it was terrible. Took over 15 minutes to scan my car. Did not let customization like the say it does, had to look up everything it said was wrong. It is not very user friendly. Fast forward 12 months and I’m hit with a $110 charge. I was super confused and had to even look up what the company was since I wrote this scanner off as junk. It would be one thing to just be a bad product, but to have a hidden subscription that you have to cancel 30 days before renewal to avoid another charge is criminal. Junk product, junk service and a horrendous company. Buy any other one scanner.

Borderline scam

Their website is very unclear that you are actually signing up to a subscription that auto-renews, not just buying a product for a one off fee. There are zero notifications before they debit your card for nearly £100 a year later. You have to contact support to cancel the auto renewal, but they will not refund the second subscription payment. The fact it’s harder to cancel than sign-up, and there is no notification of the upcoming renewal, is in breach of EU law. The app is slow and unstable and looks like a school child designed it. The only thing the app/scanner could reprogram on my car were the electrically adjusted seats, which my car isn’t even fitted with. This is despite their website listing 20+ customisations that were supported for my car. Save yourself the money and the hassle of a charge-back on your card and steer well clear of this company.
