Expensive useless app…

You buy a full licence for all cars and then a year later they want you to pay again! Scam, they are telling you that you have paid for the full unlock but that’s not entirely true! Not recommended at all! Poor app that’s very expensive! Stay well away!

An awful company, sold my car earlier this year but Carly won’t stop charging. Customer service non existent and am now issuing a summons to recover the costs

Con artists do not purchase from them

Purchased a Carly scanner for use on my car. The app does not work!! It keeps closing for no reason before you can do anything with it. Requested a refund and was told they could not issue a refund. Was told "Our team is aware of the technical problems behind this issue and is working diligently to resolve them as quickly as possible."This is no use as the item simply does not work!!So they sell you an item that they know does not work and then refuse to give a refund. To cap it all was told it is a yearly licence, no mention anywhere that it was only for a year.Having tried all suggestions from the help desk (non of which worked), I asked for a refund. Was told it was not possible and that they were closing the ticket as resolved. Yet it says on their website that returns are accepted within 14 days. Scanner arrived 12th August requested to return item on 15th August. The app still does not work so the scanner is useless. The so called help desk have not helped in any way.

Bought this to sort an issue with my 2007 VW PASSAT. Can’t fault it. Managed to clear an error and issue that many said would need a £500 VCDS. The Carly was outstanding and worked a treat. If you pay for the subscription it’ll work on any Audi, SKODA, VW, seat or BMW. In fact it’ll work on loads of cars and I’ve managed to use it to solve a lot of uses with my vehicles and my work vans too. Plus you can code your vehicle as well. Well worth the money

I would give them less than 1 Start, but it's all i had to worth with. Received a collection letter for money I owed them. No clue how this happened, since I haven't used their service in years. Stay clear. Better product out there.

Absolute garbage do not bother waisting…

Absolute garbage do not bother waisting your money!!!! Dose not read codes correctly on my bmw mini.Cannot delete stored fault codes successfully either.And that’s if you can even get it load up the different modules without it crashing or just loading forever.Even a budget scan tool would be far superior to this crap.

Rubbish and they automatically charge a 2nd year with no chance of refund

Just be careful with carly I had it wasn't that great tbh once you change a couple of light strings ect it pointless and they set auto renew up standard and don't tell you. Then you get charged a 2nd year even if you tell them you don't want the 2nd year they won't refund you. Mine cost me extra £90 for the 2nd year just sat doing nothing in a cupboard 😔

I strongly advise UK consumers to **avoid Carly**.I subscribed to their service, which promises to offer diagnostics and other features via their app and OBD device. **Despite multiple attempts and receiving three different devices, none worked with my car.** Carly support were responsive at first but ultimately unable to resolve the issue.Instead of acknowledging the product was **not fit for purpose**, Carly went on to **auto-renew my subscription** and charged me for a second year — despite my clear history of failed usage. When I requested a refund, they refused, claiming I was bound by “German rental law,” and ignoring their obligations under **UK consumer protection law**.I raised the issue with **PayPal**, but Carly falsely claimed that the service was “delivered,” which PayPal unfortunately accepted — even though access was irrelevant because the service **never worked**.This has left me out of pocket for a service that provided **no value at all**.Key Warnings:* **No refund if it doesn’t work for your car.*** **Blame placed on “German law”** to avoid refunds, even for UK consumers.* **Auto-renews without meaningful notice or opportunity to cancel.*** Support admits issues but **refuses to resolve financially**.* Doesn’t uphold **basic consumer rights**.If you’re in the UK and your Carly device doesn’t work, **expect no help and no refund**.
