Had a vehicle accident September 2022. Police involved liability was admitted straight away and now over 3 years on nothing. From the beginning 1st medical assessment was told its whip lash will be 3 months till I recover. Had physio no help apart from after that now have a creeky neck every time I move (thanks) . Now must have had at least 3 lots . Still having more to this day. I've had sports therapy with shock treatment no help. Had I think about 3 mri scans and last one a neurologist or specialist comformed that I have 2/3 slip discs and that nothing can be be done and will have to put up with the pain for rest of life . And even after that a few weeks ago I get a letter stating from a professional medical person that I need more physio and that my (slipped discs ? ) symptoms should be sorted with in 3 months? Is this a joke yes I do think .I then phone carpenters and ask what is going on and telling them (even though sent all medical reports stating about no operation no cure) I also stated about loosing mortgage house and lost every thing including eages , they reply with "you cant claim for loosing house and you might be albe to claim for some wages lost , i think ypur claim might have to be passed onto someone else as may go over £5000" Over £5000 ? You think well 3 years of wages lost In full time employment (20 years same company) what about future employment wages lost out hmmmm What about loss of what my house value would be in years to come £10000's . What about my mental health ....There is so much more wrong with my claim I can't remember now. If I remember I will add to this list .My Reference is : SOU1042/01613/2 .
I had an accident in February 2025. It was completely not my fault and an obvious no-fault accident from my side, yet Carpenters have handled my claim terribly. It is now 29th November, over 9 months later, and there has been no meaningful progress at all. They ignore my emails, ignore my messages, and I only ever hear anything if I constantly chase them.I am still injured, and these ongoing symptoms were not included in my medical report. I have still had no update on whether they will arrange a second medical review to accurately reflect my current condition.For a company that is supposed to support people after an accident, this has been genuinely disgusting. I would be happy to update this review if they finally communicate and move my claim forward, but right now I cannot recommend them to anyone.
Carpenters have handled my case excellently, from start to the conclusion I have been kept so well informed of how the case was progressing. I was supplied with all the information I needed.
