This company used unethical and coercive tactics to pressure my mother into a claim that she explicitly stated she did not want to pursue. They proceeded without her formal, written agreement and are now aggressively chasing her for payment for a service—a doctor's consultation—that she never knowingly agreed to or consented to pay for.There is no formal contract in place, yet they have resorted to formal threats of County Court Judgment (CCJ) to secure payment for a service that was essentially forced upon her.An employee named Jade Mutch was particularly unprofessional, exhibiting bullying behavior and completely ignoring my mother's clearly stated wishes.This is a nasty company focused purely on extracting money without legal or ethical grounds. Do not engage with them unless you want constant stress and harassment.Avoid at all costs.To add to this review as carpenters replied! This matter has not been closed! My mother was bullied into making a payment with the constant threat of legal action!! Do not use this company!!!!!
deliberately delaying my claim by refusing to answer my emailshad accident June 2023. absolutely appalling services.emails to ceo.Two complaints to legal ombudsman both which they agreeded with complaint and now about to start third case handler does not respond to emails.customer service sent threatening bullying email and not heard from anyone since.
absolutely appalling, being fobbed off with everything. do not notify me on anything, had to chase, up, then get a different case manager, from the one who has left, and now theyre asking me to start again, and do all the work for them. just fobbed off, excuse after excuse, now saying third part wont pay. its a standard straight forward claim, its now a year, and again fobbed off with, and causing me so much distress. the tp admitted liability straight away. ive now been told theyre taking the other party to court??????? and it will be another year. they only responded after i did a review on here. they are not acting as an insurer should do. wheres is my claim. all the medical stuff done neaerly a year ago, all documents filled in, case managers keep changing, different excuses. they only contact you if write a bad review, and after the last one ive not heard anything since. got some other advice and told to go the legal ombudsman.
My husband was in a RTA 11 months ago other driver admitted liability , his insurance involved carpenters. At first his case worker was keeping him updated but then it changed to someone different, he has not heard anything from her so he emailed her in July, to be told she would contact him if any updates ,So 2 weeks ago he messaged her again as still hears nothing, this time no reply at all which is really frustrating especially after this long. A car went into the back of my car in rush hour on the A1 in January 2023 and I am still awaiting a outcome. No meaningful communication or update despite an allocated solicitor. No replies to my communication via email and no acknowledgement to my questions via The Portal.3 years this coming January!!(The date of experience on here doesn't go back 3 years!)
My daughter and I were involved in a car accident last November 2023, I hasten to add this was not our fault, a young driver pulled out onto the main road and hit our new car. I have to say I have been in correspondence with this company in which half the time they don’t reply. I can’t believe this claim is taking this long to resolve by this company.I emailed the lady dealing with our claims on the 13/10/2024 asking what is going on with these 2 claims. Unfortunately there has been no reply which is rather annoying as it not professional to not respond to their clients. I am rather astonished at how this company are not in regular contact to resolve these claims.I would really appreciate some kind of closure regarding our claims, as it is taking far too long.
The accident I was involved in, and witnessed 3 years ago was extremely horrific. The psychological impact of what happened and what I saw has left me with anxiety and PTSD.The solicitor who handled my case was David Walmsley, with his assistant Rhiannon Jones. All paperwork requested in paper form as my mother isn’t good with technology yet all paperwork comes via email/DocuSign. Thankfully she has children to help her out with it. Then once all documents have been sent there is no correspondence for months. An email is then sent to them and still no reply almost 2 weeks later. You could be on hold for up to 1 hour before the phone is even answered. DO NOT use this company!
