Please avoid these solicitors, my claim started August 24th 2024 ! And I have since had 3 case handlers who can’t handle even picking up the phone to update me on my case , I have a new claim handler every time i feel I’m getting a answer to what’s going on , my mum was in the same accident as me and her case has progressed a lot faster than mine , staff are really unhelpful and I really don’t understand why I have had to wait a year and 3 months with still no clue what’s happening! Terrible company

Radio silence

I had a car accident in September last year that led to me being injured and having to have physiotherapy. Carpenters are dealing with my case through my insurance but I haven’t heard anything for months. They are not forthcoming with contact details and only have an online messaging service. I’ve messaged three times asking for an update and I’m yet to hear anything. After originally denying fault the other party has since admitted fault. The other person that was involved has already been to court and won through his insurances legal.

Took them 10 months to get the police report, Got no/zero faith in the company ever resolving the case, please don’t ever ask for feedback 💩💩💩💩

First got contact for Ian anderson at…

First got contact for Ian anderson at carpenters through my insurance. Ian was very knowledgeable and took task for my case immediately. Dealing with the other insurance company was a task in itself as they werent very helpful to Ian but he stuck to the task and gave me all the info I needed and kept me up to date on all proceedings and advice how to proceed. Eventually got the result we were after and hopefully all settled in the next 4 weeks . Thanks again Ian for you patience and professionalism.

Awful experience

Awful experience. Closed my case without even telling me. Seem to have incorrect documentation about my incident and have closed the case on these grounds. Yet won’t reopen the case with the correct details because the outcome would be the same - they say this without even seeming to know or listen to the correct details. They didn’t even seem to understand I have a car not a van. How they got the details so wrong in the first place I don’t know because what they have documented is not what I told them. Cannot get through to complain or raise this further. How a legal company is getting away with behaving like this I don’t know. This is the company my insurer have given me, and yet they are utterly incompetent and do not care for details such as what actually occurred in an incident. They appear to have no interest in this case - or many others looking on here - it’s patently not worth enough money to them. So I will have to formally complain and I suspect go to the regulatory authorities about this seriously poor service. Carpenters group are shockingly bad. 17/11/25 - I’m hoping that means you will contact me to document correct details of the incident before it’s reviewed on incorrect information again?

Positive experience with Carpenters

I was involved in a RTC which I was not at fault for. Carpenters were instructed through my insurance to represent my side. From the off, they were very professional, patient and understanding. I never felt that I was being pressured, ignored or misdirected in any of the proceedings. This was the first time being in an accident & dealing with a law firm. The made the process very easy. Check-ups & Physio were organised by the firm all in locations close by. Contact was very prompt (I understood a lot depended on the other side). Given the circumstances they made the process as easy as possible.
