I do not recommend this company. They are frauds, the employee who is at the front desk is rude and not nice. They do not let you read the contract and sign the car rental. They only charge me a deposit that will be returned later. When you return the car you still have nothing, no contracts. But later it turns out that various transactions have been charged on your card account. When you call them, the person does not help, they are just mean and aggressive towards you. I was robbed by them without my consent and signature, they charged me for the insurance premium, which I did not agree to and did not sign, and of course the second charge that I smoked, but I do not smoke at all. Please check and demand the contract before renting.
Same experience as most people. They stole 700 euro from my credit card. There was existing damage to car and they billed me for it. They tried to bill me for 2 watermarks as well! I reported them to the police, the car insurance company and the credit card company. I will get my money back soon. These polish people are ruthless. They have no conscience. If enough people who had money stolen from them complained to the police, these scum will be out of a job and the company closed down due to a lack of business. These people are cold and heartless. We will never visit that country again
I had an awful experience with Carwiz Rent a Car. They falsely claimed I caused three damages to the car, which I am certain I did not. It was clear they were trying to extort money from me, but fortunately, I managed to recover the costs through my insurance.To make matters worse, when I initially picked up the car, I paid for an additional driver and after-hours service. However, after they charged me for the supposed damages, they also charged me AGAIN for the additional driver and after-hours service, meaning I was double-billed for these fees.Carwiz seems to be running a scam. They fabricate damages to keep your deposit and pile on extra charges unfairly. This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and untrustworthy. I highly recommend staying far away from them.
I spent nearly an hour inspecting damage on the rental car. It was cold, raining and very dark… I found another 3 small areas of damage not shown on CARWIZ’s damage chart and god only knows what I missed! So this was my first suspicion that this is a clever scam. If you drive just 1km you can get very minor damage from other vehicles throwing up grit and small stones.. CARWIZ will charge you for repairs that are unrecorded on the damage chart you sign when collecting the car. Be aware!
I booked trough a 3th party and only saw at the very last moment it was with Carwiz as rental company. Thank you for all the negative reviews, that's how I managed to not get scammed by Carwiz.I managed to return the car in the same condition as received 4 days earlier.Upon returning the vehicle there was no one at the desk. So I've called them, they told me to drop the keys in the dropbox. I kindly refused and said I wanted to do the vehicle inspection with them. After a short 20 minutes the agent arrives.He was extremely unfriendly and hostile. Even a simple "hi" was too much to ask apparently. I guess he knew I've been reading their reviews online and knew I wasn't going to let me get scammed.I demanded a signed paper that the vehicle was returned in original condition & my €1000 deposit released on the spot.The car was good, but thats about it.Extremely rude behaviourAvoid renting with them, clearly scammers eventhough I got lucky to not get scammed.
Scammers! I was charged 272.54 GBP for a scratches that I haven't done it. I am contacting the authorities in Poland and decide to make an official complaint against the company and their practise. Dear CARWIZZ, please do not send the message that you are sorry because this is the same story to everyone. Kindly reply to my email! Still waiting.
Rented a car in Wrocław. The process was quick and straightforward. The car was clean and ready to go. Upon my return, I placed the keys in the box as I had an early flight. The next day, my deposit was unlocked from my credit card. I have used Carwiz a few times and haven't had any issues so far.
