Terrible experience! charged me £40 for a lost parking ticket which was actually left inside the car! After dropping the car and being checked by the Carwiz employee I was assured everything was ok, only to see a £40 charge for apparently losing a parking ticket.17/12/2024I was asked to write to your customer service but i have been doing so for the last three weeks with no reply or acknowledgement, you should be ashamed ! the way you treat customers is disgraceful.20/03/2025After many months today I received a half vague excuse from this scammers!! YOU MUST AVOID these thieves!! I will be taking action against this horrible company and also Booking.com who suggested them, I will be taking them both to tradring standards to make sure they dont steal from other customers. Avoid at all costs.
Do not choose this provider!I rented a car from Carwiz for just one day. When I got back home, the provider sent me an email charging me for some tiny scratches, even though I hadn't had an accident or anything like that.Carwiz created an invoice with their own fantasy amounts, which they used to calculate the invoice to the exact amount of the deposit. Carwiz demanded the entire deposit for themselves. That will have been the plan from the start. If you choose Carwiz, you are guaranteed to have similar problems.Also, contrary to what was stated in the booking, there was no shuttle to the airport.In addition, when I returned the car in the afternoon, there was no employee on site. Last but not least, the employee I picked up the car from was not particularly committed or friendly.I hope I can save you from getting into trouble with this.

Keep clear from CarWiz. ******SCAM COMPANY. *******Booked this car rental through RYANAIR, won't do that again.... anyway, arrived as RZESZOW Airport in Poland. Found the desk on 3rd floor. Staff were fine, provided me all the usual documents. I arrived after dark and was told their colleague had been out to the car and photographed the vehicle noting all the existing damage. I walked out to the car and could nt see any major damage. It was dark. Only light was from distant carpark lamps. I took my usual photos of the car panels, glass and wheels. The following morning I washed the car as it was given to me dirty, could see several tiny little scratches all over the car. This was clearly all known about as the guy told me, right.... 🙄 Anyway, upon the return I took the same photos, full fuel tank and it was clean inside and out. A few days later I'm emailed and told the car had 1 new scratch near the fuel tank door. Rubbish, it's been parked in my families yard all week with very little use. They changed my credit card 390 euro and there is nothing I can do about it.Fortunately I can claim on my extra insurance i took out but when I asked for the damage report and photos they had some trouble supplying it.They are a scam company. When the photos did finally arrive on 1st March 2025, I compared them with my photos. Well I can't prove it 100% but I'm sure 95% it's a different car. These people should be given a wide birth. Mark my words, a cheap deal that looks really cheap is really cheap for a reason. They will be charging you an extra £350.
The worst hire car company ever. Stay away from them it is a scam.I hired a car via Booking.com to pick up at Rseszow aiport last October, the car was dirty outside and inside.The car was not taken care of but they had nothing else to offer me.I also had to hire at an additional cost a GPS device that was was supposed to return to the customer service at the airport. On my return the customer desk at the airport was closed so I had to leave it with a different hire company that was open. There was nobody to return the key and properly check the car on return. I left the key in some key box they had to go and take my flight. I received an email a day or two later and they charged me over 600 Euros on my credit card and submitted some fake pictures that I scratched the car!!! Stay away from this company they are a scam.
I emailed them prior to making a reservation.Angelika suggested to purchase their full coverage insurance for about $150 for Corolla Cross Hybrid, for two weeks.I was sceptical because of bad reviews but took a chance because the price war half of what Herz or Enterprise across the street was changing. Upon my arrival I was handed the key and the guy at the front desk said we did not even need to check the car, since I have their full coverage.When I returned the car, I was greeted by a nice girl Amanda, who said the same. Couple of days later my deposit was returned. My advice is: Buy their full protection and avoid problems. It's worth it.
Rented Toyota CH-R in Aug 2024 for 25 days. Easy rental process, was told that someone is at the counter till 9 pm daily. I was also advised to take photos just in case of damage dispute. Nobody checked the car with me. Returned the car day before at 8:45 pm and nobody was there. Next day I was charged for scratches that were present before my pick up. I had photos and sent an email to them. 30 days later was told that I should have showed it to their agent. I was back in Warsaw in December and confronted the agent. She said that there must have been a problem with database update and promised to get refund within 3 days. But only 476 USD out of 838 was returned. No reply to subsequent emails. CRIMINALS AND SCAMMERS!!!!!! AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!!!

Despite initial promises, no representative was present at the airport upon our arrival. Consequently, we were required to take a minibus with our children and luggage to the vehicle's location. The vehicle inspection was conducted at night, necessitating the use of a flashlight due to inadequate lighting.Despite purchasing insurance for peace of mind, we received an email after returning the vehicle, containing photographs of alleged damages. These included minor dirt marks, barely visible scratches, and unclear images that made it difficult to ascertain if they belonged to the same vehicle. It appears that the company exploits such minute details to generate revenue from unsuspecting customers.Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Carwiz as a reliable or trustworthy car rental service. We advise against choosing them in favour of more reputable and established companies. While the initial cost may be lower, the potential for subsequent headaches and disputes outweighs any perceived savings.Regrettably, we must now file an insurance claim, which Carwiz informed us is handled by a third party, requiring us to manage the process independently. This adds to the inconvenience and frustration caused by their poor customer service and questionable business practices. AVOID!!!
