TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I rented a car in Krakow airport. They gave me a map of the car with 20 scuffs without any visible damages. When I returned the car they released me without receipt, but 2 days later sent me a bill, because they found 3 additional scuffs. There was absolutely no damage. They charged my credit card without permission. AVOID THEM. SCAM! The same if stated in other reviews. I wish, I read other reviews prior to renting.
They charged me 700 EUR of the deposit for a small glass stint in the front window which could literally be fixed for TOPS 50 EUR by carglass. Salesman at drop-off told me it would not be very expensive. Little did I know. Should have read Trustpilot before I rented.. Will never rent from them again and nor should you.
I picked up the car from the airport at night. The report had 15 minor damages described on the report. Since it was after the rental company's working hours, the employee was not eager to show me the damages and I was in a hurry. The car didn't look damaged on the look. After returning the car, it turned out that there were additional minor abrasions. They charged me 500 EUR. Maybe I would have believed it if I had used it. However, it happened that I drove the car home, it was in the garage, and returned it after a few days. Word against word. I will survive, but unfortunately I know that I was ripped off.Of course, It was also my fault, I could have bought an insurance form them, as I usually do. However, as with most rental companies, they don't advertise it before rental. And the price they've offered me was far above the rates I usually pay with the other renters.The scam is that, if they were to remove the damage from the insurance, it is a long process and the insurance company would pay the actual cost of the damage. If I was charged directly, no one verifies their version or the cost of settling a possible damage.And yes, I've contacted ...carwiz.pl, no answer
I would give 0 if I could… all went well initially and thought - nice finally the company that does not force you to get additional insurance … but now I know why… on return.. I looked over the car and there were no scratches or anything out of order. Not had an accident or any issues whatsoever and car was parked in the driveway. No staff so left the car key, next day got the email quitting me 1600 PLN for the damage - tiny scratch on the plastic bumper which probably happened during cleaning ( can be wiped off with t- cut) and the tiniest chip. I had booking with them for May but cancelled now … never again - do not recommend at all
Rent went fine.On car return, they claimed that the vehicle was dirty (and it absolutely wasn't) and that it was supposed to be returned cleaned.I took pictures and sent them to their CS as evidence of the false claim, and yet they have charged me. I will never again use this company manged by criminals!
Absolutely awful service, at the beginning of my trip I've had to wait at the reception desk for 20 mins before somebody finally decided to show up. They have charged me 175 zloty for cleaning the car which was never mentioned no pictures to prove anything. I've spoken to their customer service and they're useless repeating and contradicting them selves with everything they say. The have rented cards from various companies in Poznan and this was by far the worst experience, absolute scammers, I wish I have read reviews before i had made the booking with them. The car was clean when we returned it yet they charged me and not even let me know by email, phone call or letter, I only realised by checking my credit card account. Please stay away from these scammers.
Avoid this company! Scammers!I strongly advise against using Carwiz. I rented a car and left the required deposit, but after returning the vehicle, the company took money from the deposit without any explanation. They didn’t inform me about it, and there was no communication at all.Later when I was trying find out what is going on they said that I have made lots of scratches? They sent me pictures but few of them was already on the car when I was taking from them ( I have proof of this on my phone )The worst company ever I left Poland because I was on holiday and money gone !All situation happened in Poland in Krakow ! They charge me for all most £900 If you don't want loose your money stay away from this company
AVOID!!! AVOID!!!! AVOID!!!!Stay away from those scammers. Car price will be cheap but then they will find scratches that were probably all there as those cars are in bad shape full of paint chips.I got charged 450€ out of deposit as I’ve been told that there is 3 small chips that are smaller than 2mm and probably will never be fixed.At first I had nobody to show me the existing defects when I picked up the car and then I was told these ones are new. It’s a joke of a company.It’s shame that Ryanair cooperates with company’s like that!!!!Hope no one else make same mistake as me.Check other reviews they are all negative and based on same thing over and over again.
