My recent experienced at Warsaw Chopin Airport was terrible. Actual picking up of the car was very smooth and friendly. I was concerned that next to the reception desk was warning message that if you park in a wrong section we charge you 250zl (£50). The problem started when I tried to drop off the car. The car was just been washed and left in the same condition I rented. I was not able to park at the allocated space. I tried to contact the customer service desk few times..Couldn't get through then I was disconnected. Finally after making three rounds I manage to park the car however employee disappeared . Later on (6 hours after drop off) I found out that the car was left with few scratches on a bumper. Even I have an ongoing excess care insurance I decided that it is completely unfair towards insurer as no damage was made. Absolutely unacceptable approach by rental company. The picture of the car was made before rental but never provided despite I requested. Apparently two small scratches (1cm) was estimated by the rental company to £424
We recently rented a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid for a week from Carwiz Poznam Airport through Holiday Extras (UK) inc. full protection cover. Initially, we were skeptical due to some negative reviews, but we decided to go ahead because of the attractive price and the convenience of their Sunday hours.Customer Service: Our flight was delayed, but the Carwiz representative was monitoring our flight and waited for us until we arrived, which was just before 9 PM on Sunday, January 5th, 2025. Their dedication to customer service was impressive.Vehicle Condition: The car had several noted damages (scratches and dents), and we picked up a few new damages with the Carwiz rep, who duly noted them in their system. We also took plenty of photos for our records.Return Process: We returned the car by dropping the key in the box. We caught the Carwiz representative before our departure, and he confirmed that everything was okay. We received our full deposit two days later.Recommendation: Carwiz should encourage customers to write reviews, as many reviews so far are from people who had negative experiences. Customers with positive experiences, like us, often don’t leave reviews.Overall, we had a great experience with Carwiz in Poznan, and we will definitely rent from them again.
We have asked for the car for 15.30 , but had to wait an hour for a car, there were no cars to give us .the car was very old with over 70.000 km . The service provided by the make staff on the day of the pick up was awful , so rude . Devolucion was quick but there was no pleasant service neither . They were very unpleasantvtonus as we had car insurance with other company . We would not recommend this company to anyone .
I also had a very unpleasant situation with this rental, namely I was charged 400 euros for damage to the windshield, which was already there. I asked them to send and prove that the new damage they allegedly found is not the old one, but after sending a few emails, no one has contacted me yet:( very poor behavior on their part. I certainly do not recommend this car rental to anyone else, ordinary scammers :(
SCAMMERS! *DO NOT USE* PLEASE READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ALSO! I can only assume we got caught in a mass insurance scam with this car hire company. We were charged for 'damage' on the vehicle that wasn't there! And they took £700 within an hour of returning it. I wish I had read these other reviews before using this company. I hope I can help someone else by writing this, not to make the same mistake. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY! They will charge you for made up damage!
On what Earth do these people think they are running a business ? They are plain scammers and thiefs. Do not make a mistake about it ! Their actions are not a coincidence and are well planed and they will milk you from your cc deposit. After going through review websites for Carwiz you will realize that scamming is pretty standard. After rental they will send you a list of bogus damages like …. Hairline scratch not a paint deep, or 1/3 of mm in diameter windshield chip. By any car rental standards, not even in a 3rd world African countries these are NOT a damages ! By the way I did not do them and my rental had a 67K milage … never had a rental like that in my life ! They will not answer your calls. Yes you can send emails to customer service but you will only receive automated answers. My case $1700 CAD and I have no idea how CC comply with that and don’t black list them. Please be aware. These psychopaths will ruin your vacation … don’t even pay attention to excellent quote for a rental.
