We have been customers of Champion Windows before, and are glad we had them install a new front door for our home. The entire unit is of the highest quality and was well installed in one setting. We had a minor problem with the deadbolt, notified Customer Service, and it was fixed to our complete satisfaction. This company is dependable and reliable.
We were worried about getting windows, partly because of other experiences we heard from other neighbors pricing windows. I grew up on the East coast and Champion is a well known and respected company. I was thrilled to find they are now in Colorado and scheduled a consult. I loved that there was no pressure, no high pitch sales attempt, and our assessor really listened to what we wanted. Not going to lie, the price was painful because we have soooo many windows but it wasn't the highest bid we received. The installation crew was top notch, cannot say enough about them. They covered everything in the house that could get dirty and worked for 2 days straight to get the old out and the new in. I don't remember seeing them take a lunch break or any break for that matter. Super nice, stopping to show us what they were doing and how to operate the new windows. In the month since we have had them, our electric bill has dropped $50. Our previous windows were really old and you could feel the air coming through them, especially when it was cold. These new windows are amazing and I love how I can flip them over and clean without going outside. Highly recommend Champion. Their entire team (assessor, measuring, financing, installation, customer service, scheduling) has been amazing.
I was able to get an appointment online to schedule a overview of the windows and get a quote. I had two sales guy, Joe and Robert, who were amazing. As a mom of two, they were understanding and accepting of the kids interruptions, even taking my youngest outside to play while we discussed further numbers. I was able to get their professional opinions on which windows needed done as high priority, as I was replacing existing windows from when the house was originally built. I was also able to discuss what my ideal budget was when discussing the credit line available. There were several MINOR (Very minor) things with the windows once installed that they were able to fix promptly. I am looking forward to getting the rest of the windows done this summer.
We have had Champion windows for at least 10 years and the windows are great. One of the things that we like was Champion's replacement guarantee which we have used in the past and it was great. Now however, we have another replacement issue. A window's seal went bad. A representative came out in December, 2020 and stated it was eligible for a replacement. He stated that it would be late February 2021 for the replacement to be installed. I have heard nothing from Champion since December, 2020. I have called at least 3 times and given a guarantee that someone would call back. Never happened. I also emailed them and chatted with them last week with a promise that someone would get back to me. NOTHING. I am very disappointed in the service now. It will make me think twice about getting Champion windows again. I understand delays. I do not understand the lack of communication.
