Review Time
We received a Customer Care visit from Brian T today at our home at The Oaks at Wynyard. He was required to address some water ingress under our garage doors. Brian explained at each stage what he would be doing and why, and completed an efficient and very professional job and was very tidy throughout. Another good example of someone who really understands customer care and the importance of putting the customer at the centre of what he is doing. Thanks again Brian for your help and support which we greatly appreciated
During the build of my house, the doors were not installed correctly and were visibly misaligned from the outset. Despite several attempts by your team to fix the issue, the problem has not been resolved and has in fact worsened, with the door handle now hanging off. Although multiple visits have been documented, I am now being told that I must pay a £165 call-out fee for further repair, which I do not believe is reasonable given that the issue stems from the original installation. In addition, there appear to be problems with the insulation in the property; the soundproofing is so poor that you can hear even the slightest noise through the house, which suggests that insulation may be missing or inadequately installed. These issues are causing significant frustration and should be addressed as defects related to the build rather than treated as chargeable maintenance.
I don’t believe these reviews , I considered buying a Charles church house in Exning , I’m so glad I didn’t ! I’m a tradesman, a real tradesman- not the kind employed by this company . I have been doing some brickwork alterations and have been appalled by the state of the brickwork, an absolute disgrace to the trade . The client has also had many other issues with other trades . I don’t completely blame the tradesmen , it is also a site management issue allowing shoddy workmanship, probably under intense financial and time pressure . Sad state of affairs. I know they will still sell because most people don’t know what they are looking at beyond the glitzy sales brochures. Remember- any house is only as good as the tradesmen that built it . You won’t like this Charles church but if you’d like to argue I can show some pictures that will put you off your breakfast !
The web site information and the actual deal were two different things. House is amazing but they took bi fold doors away and said flooring was not included even though all the web searches stated included. Poor customer service and response on this with no response from head office after a compliant. Reduced house price means they cut items out to save costs an passed them onto us.
I wanted to thank Mark Perren (maintenance team) who has been helping with the snags in our home. His attention to detail has been outstanding. He takes the time to carefully inspect each issue, explains what needs to be done, and makes sure everything is completed to a very high standard.What really stands out is how thorough he is. He doesn’t just fix the obvious problem, but also checks surrounding areas to ensure everything is properly finished and won’t cause issues later. He is professional, and very reliable. It’s reassuring to have someone so conscientious handling the snagging issue, and it has made a big difference to the quality and finish of our home. Thanks Mark, we really appreciate all your efforts.
Alex was brilliant from start to finish. He painted the bathroom to a very professional standard and the finish looks excellent. He worked cleanly and kept everything tidy throughout, with no paint anywhere it shouldn’t be. Really pleased with the result and would happily recommend him.
