If I could give a 0 I would. Or a minus £39.90 since that’s how much they stole from me. Their emails back claim that I entered into a subscription. I never did. Like everyone else here I was victim of a scam. Further more their reply to my review is to contact their customer service when obviously I had already done so and got told that there is nothing they can do as I entered “an agreement” when I replied I wanted proof of the agreement and proof of confirmation email with that alleged agreement🤔 I got no reply until now.
My biggest regret online has been to pay with my credit card for a car report which was inadequate but cheep.This was July 2024 and ever since this fraudulent tribal fake company has charged my card £39.90 each month and despite my multiple complaints and my credit card company ‘s intervention still has been a massively frustrating experience and I had to eventually cancel my credit card to get this virus off my back. My advice is complain to your credit card company and get them to rebate the first stollen money and cancel your card. Don’t give up till we find the people behind this scandalous disgusting fraudulent group of peasants called themselves checkmycar
Scammers! Read and trust all previous reviews. They'll take subscription fees without clearly outlining it and then cause a whole lot of issues for you when raising this with your bank when you wish to get it reversed/reimbursed. AVOID AT ALL COST.I know they will reply to this review that they are trying to make it clear on their website about subscription but this has been not rectified even after many bad reviews on this matter. Clearly they are doing this purposely. Shame on you to earn money like this.
£5.95 check! instead they have been collecting £39.90 a month!! - over 1500 negative reviews on trust pilot which equates to over £63k they have scammed a month and probably more!! from people. Never signed up they assumed that I wanted unlimited checks! How many cars do they think I am going to be buying!! only wanted a check on one car which the sale didn’t go ahead!
Worst experience ever. They just take 39.90£ fraudlently as hidden charges instead of 5.95£. Those charges they never mentioned during buying the advertised report. Just avoid thise scammers. Will definetely complain against them on trading standards aswell.
Like other people I too believed I was only signing up for a one time purchase of £5.95, now two payments of £39.95 in taken without me realising direct from my account, I originally was looking for "Carvertical" as used and advertised by the well know YouTuber "Matt Armstrong" they very cleverly have set themselves up just in front of the web site you are looking for and you end up getting sucked in, the subscription details are there probably but you need to read the details through and through before you commit, the information they give you is ok but not what Carvertical offer. As I was drawn to this via watching Matt Armstrongs Chanel and his recommendation I think it only fair that he has an insight to this as other people have done exactly what I have done looking for his recommendation, I think I will also be advising my bank to make sure no further payments are taken without my authority. Information sent ok, but basic and not what I wanted in the first place.
