They take your money before giving you the information about what to supply as evidence for the application. Surely, you should be allowed to write an application, and then make payment on submission of the application. After making my payment - It asked for a birth certificate which I had, but the next page asked for evidence of change of name which I didn't have. It asked for a referee but later said the referee had to be a profession on their list, I knew someone who has teaching qualifications but wasn't a current teacher therefore could not be used. They would not refund the £18 taken. Had I known at the beginning of the process that I could supply the evidence required then I wouldn't have submitted an application.
If I could give a no star I would . They’ve taken my money , state they can’t verify my verifier . I’ve sent them evidence on numerous occasions including links to prove my verifier . Refusing a refund refusing to process the card . Manner in which they talk is abysmal.Please do not use this service at all . They’ve committed fraud taking my money !!!!
Changing all IDs back to Ma maiden name is a hassle but Citizen card made it easier on their end answering emails quickly and we got there in the end. Canna recommend them enough and recommend them to anyone needing more ID barring youngscot and others like provisional or passport that can be harder and take longer to obtain. Why does no many people know about these cards?!
