Moving company price scam

I signed a moving contract between Dallas, TX and Corpus Christi, TX with Ryan Rinker from Coastal Movers for $2,179.50 on 5/28/24.The movers showed up on June 1st around 3:30 PM; when I started to discuss the move with Mariso Botello (name on the phone), (Cita Van Lines), (312.826.30820. He looked around and started telling me we need to wrap all this stuff (furniture, TV’s, etc.) and it will cost for all the wrapping. I stated I already have a contract that covers that plus all your travel, etc. He just kept on talking and started t pull out work sheets which I didn’t think was odd while his 2 works started loading the truck. Mariso started pulling all these numbers out and stated again that I already have a contract and the pickup/ delivery are covered plus I already put down a deposit of $994.00. Again, he ignored me and just kept on producing about 5 sheets for me to sign all over the place with my signature which came to a total of a little over $5,000.00 and I was required to give him a check for a little over $1,500.00. Again, I stated this has already been taken care of. I tried to reach Ryan but he wouldn’t answer the phone. Note: the entire time Mariso kept on complaining about the contents while creating more boxes. After the apartment we went to the storage unit and once the door was opened Mariso started throwing his arms in the air and started to complain about the amount of stuff. I again told him this was already discussed with Ryan. He stated not for this much stuff (I didn’t catch then that he did see the original contract). He stated we will need to create a new contract for even more money. Once done loading we went back to the apartment and he started a new contract sheet but now the amount was $6,657.51 less the deposit, and I was required to give him a check for $2,831.75 and another $2,831.75 once dropped off. As I didn’t have a debit card and couldn’t buck up another $600.00 and they wouldn’t take a check it had to be money order or debit card. They couldn’t deliver my belongings right away; they have to go in storage because they needed the truck for another move.At this point I didn’t catch 2 things. 1, He knew how much the deposit was and 2, He knew how many items I discussed with Ryan. After they left, I started putting things together and realized I was just scammed! That morning, I sent a text cancelling the check and the fake contract noting I already have a contract for $2,179.00 and they are required to honor it. I drove to Corpus Christi and the next day there were 2 phone messages and a text to discuss delivery. I called the next day and spoke with Jennifer (941.782.18310 and while I was trying to tell her what had happened, she cut me and after a short discussion she stated I canceled the check for $2,831.75 and canceled the contract. I stated this was a bogus contact and she wasn’t honoring the original contract and that time we were done talking and they have my belongings. Notes: Bud Van Lines (Linda Rodriguez – 732.271.2265)Lisa (My girlfriend) spoke with another moving company in Irving, TX that stated the following.Bud Van Lines (Linda Rodriguez – 732.271.2265) General MGR.Movers go by weight not by box count.The contract for $2,179.50 was very reasonable for Dallas to Corpus Christi.There are no storage fees when the delay is on their part.I was originally told they couldn’t drive more than 4 hours a day due to new trucking regulations so they would be charging me for 2 days travel there and 2 days travel back. THE ART SIDE - INDIFFERNCE INFERIOR MATERIAL

THE ART SIDE - Mayflower Street. Scanned pencil portraits, then printed. After circa 5/6 weeks faded so badly that one all but disappeared. Told me probably due to paper being stuck onto a board. Framer said impossible as dry stick. Then told due to being in sunlight. Said no hanging on a whole no sunlight - only daylight. Then said can try again with gloss paper. I decided to go elsewhere as THE ART SIDE took no responsibility. WE HAVE NEVER HAD THIS COMPLAINT BEFORE!!! Found another shop and showed their work. They immediately said using INFERIOR INK not resistant to UV light. A SCHOOL BOY ERROR. I AM NEVER EVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF THEIRS TO PURCHASE ART RELATED MATERIAL FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS. To be honest, I was astonished as to how indifferent they were and the manager did not even offer to refund some of the money I had spent - twice for the same job !!!

Recently we purchased 2 items of clothing online through a website- Modish-Wellington, stating the ladies jumper was Cashmere blend. On arrival it was Polyster / cotton and no cashmere. Firstly delivery was delayed by weeks, then it arrived 3 weeks after ordering but we were overseas by this time and the return date had passed to return the good.After many emails an offer 25% money back only was granted. The product still remains with us under false advertising of its product description and very unhappy. Please beware this product is coming from China and not of quality.

Hi I have used the ATM machine in Lefkosa Garanti bank in yeni sehir 493 number ,and the machine didn't give my 8000 TL but the machine showed it did so Friday because the bank just closed the workers inside just ignore me and didn't come to the door to tell me come on Monday, and was rood saying 1 minute then after 5 minutes 2 ignoring me Monday I whent there and they just was arguing with me just because I ask for the address, email and telephone number wich they hade to give me with a complain number but they didn't so do not use this bank in Lefkosa North Cyprus they are most ignorant people working there and don't bank with them

Dry pizza and not soft dough

On 20Apr, I ordered some pizza for guests from Tampines, sadly all complaint why I got pizzahut. Pizza was dry, insufficient of cheese. Hidden cheese by additional $7 is TOTALLY not worth. No taste, just like part of the dough. Garlic bread also a waste, no butter garlic taste, just oil and very salty. Bal I gave my neighbour and she also hates the pizza I gave. I spoke to the staff. She promised to call me back but never did. I sent a note on website and no reply. I callback but avoid my call. Poor quality pizza and poor service as they don't care.

handicapped or a vet Fry's Carefree Hwy.

If your handicapped or a vet you may want to stay away from this store, Fry's at 4815 E. Carefree Hwy, Phoenix. They will not provide assistance if you need help carrying items out. I had a very experience at that store and lot of problems, see Yelp reviews for this store. I have shopped at the other store at Tatum near the McDonalds off CC rd and they are much better.

Do not order from this company they are crap zpreeware I thought i ordered a pair of leggings which i haven't received and they have taken 2 lot's of 3.oo pound out of me plus 9 .99 for the trousers and now they have taken 24.99 iv reported them now scam

BEWARE!!! ASAP appliance repair BC

ASAP appliance repair BC service is a company you need to stay far away from!!!! I’m gonna try to make a long story short. My dryers problem to start was there was no heat but everything else worked perfectly. I was told by the tech, that I needed a new motor as some kind of chip wasn’t responding to the heater part. He set a date and then texted that the part had to be ordered from another province and a week later came back to put the motor in. After it was installed, still no heat. He said the socket needs to be looked at as he’s not an electrician. I had an electrician come in and he said everything read out fine to the box at the dryer so I called the dryer company and two guys came back, turned it on and there was heat and it turned , he looked at me like I was dumb and was rude about it. I said well it wasn’t turning when I had a load in it. He shrugged his shoulders and said it’s working and left. So I went to do laundry and the dryer wouldn’t turn at all. I called and the one rude guy came back, checked the electrical box at dryer and instead of showing me, cause I’m dumb apparently, he showed my 17 year old that one side was not reading at the 120 volts it should. Ok fair enough, so I called another electrical company as the other guy didn’t do a full check I guess. That electrical company came in and yes the wires at the main box had a loose wire, but when I went to put clothes in the dryer, it wouldn’t turn. If it was empty, it would and yes after the wire was tighten, I had heat. I called the dryer company telling him that the dryer won’t turn, the rude guy came back. He took off the dryer cover, which he also scratched the washer, (it’s a stackable) which now has a gouge in it. He then put a new belt on and new spring and said that was for free. I’m like perfect, thanks so much and I was excited to use my dryer finally!!!! Well I go to put a full load in guess what!!!..it won’t turn!!! When there’s 10 pieces of clothing in it, it will turn, but there’s a clicking sound. I called them back and they said that they will charge me 200 to come back as they came enough. I asked for my receipt for the motor as I wasn’t giving them another cent. The rude guy told me that they don’t have to do that and it’s under warranty for 90 days. But you wanna charge me for something you did and on a Warrenty of the motor to check it out.l!? These guys cost me 1000 after all said and done and I ended up with a dryer that’s worse now than where it started. The question is, did I even need a new motor as I was told from rude guy that the first tech was an apprentice. When the electrical was fix I had heat!!! Did I only need the socket to be fixed vs the motor? Why didn’t the guy the first time start with the socket, and say have an electrician come in before putting a new motor in!?? Since they are refusing to give me the original receipt for the motor, did they give me a refurbished one from their shop that still isn’t working properly?? Like I said, stay far far away from them!!!! This definitely isn’t the end of my fight as I’m not one to let bad companies do this to others.

I'm £4:64 in credit and my Electric was cut off I had two top up again Don't get it. Your get an online support chat which doesn't work. After 5pm No live customer service so you are stuck. I had no choice to go with British gas. As my other supplier went bust. Had nothing but hastle. Since being with this company Many times yet just reviewing now
