It's very rare, in this day and age, to receive the level of customer service I recently had from Jess at Corston. She really did go above and beyond to assist.Can't wait to install my bathroom lights, the polished nickel is just gorgeous, love, love, love them.
I purchased two bathroom wall lights and had a professional fit them, only to find one hanging from the wall where the screw part had broken a few months later.We're renovating the house so I never got round to contacting Corston straight away, making it over a year since we’d bought them, but they were happy to send out a replacement within days. Unfortunately the colour of the metal had changed (lighter) so was different to the unbroken one, but again Emily said she would send out another one without any cost to myself. It was done within days and arrived safely. You couldn’t ask for better customer service in my opinion, and it give me confidence to shop with them in future.
We ordered the Richmond antique brass wall lights for our lounge. They are a beautiful product. Due to different rates of patina, the inside of the shades were different. Customer services dealt with our queries quickly and efficiently. I couldn’t fault them.
Brilliant after sales service. Bought a lot of switches and handles from here in 2021 and service was great. Had a problem with one of the switches and emailed customer service. They were straight back to me with a solution even though it was 3 years later. Really happy with everything I bought 3 years on too. Thanks Sally!
Very poor quality - faulty products. I’d recommend avoiding this company. We have spent thousands of pounds with them and we have ended up having to replace all dimmer modules - leaving us out of pocket. They have admitted the modules were faulty but have only part refunded me leaving us out of pocket because we have had to get an electrician in to replace modules. I don’t really see how they can do this- I will be reporting them to trading standards.
Antique brass 28mm pull handles Good points handled were received in good packaging and they looked great. Bad points they have been on the kitchen for about a week they mark so easily and cannot get the marks off. I left a review to reflect this on the site and guess what they have deleted the review. They are clearly making people think there products are the best on the market by tricking people with fake reviews and removing the negative ones. I have also noticed on the reviews on here is that they only reply to the good ones. Clearly not bothered about the people that are disappointed.
I have always just assumed everyone knows Corston is a brilliant company but I am leaving a review in case that isn't so. Corston make high-end hardware/architectural details for your home and in my view they and their hardware are second to none. The hardware is really beautiful and it feels more like I've bought jewellery for my home rather than hardware. The light switches, sockets, door knobs, coat hooks are very elegant and lovely to use. They all elevate our rooms making them look well considered and expensive!The service is outstanding and during the end of our project we had flood which damaged one of the antique brass light switches. I contacted Corston to find out how to clean it and, instead, they told me they would like to replace the plate and switch. I was blown away by their kindness and generosity which obviously helped enormously in an otherwise bad situation. Thank you so very much Corston, you're an all round class act.
