We’re harvesting sunshine!

Thank you to everyone at Deege Solar, we’re harvesting sunshine! We could not be happier with the service we received from the initial consultation through to the quality of the installation.Special thanks to Richie and Johnny for their meticulous work, attention to detail on getting the panels in the right position was key for us, you made sure that we were 100% happy with your work before you left the site, really appreciated. Also to Nick, whose electrical work was super tidy with all the wiring and units installed perfectly. Amy and Kate your regular updates and throughout the process were really reassuring, thanks for coordinating everything in such a friendly way. There are lots of companies installing solar/battery systems, for a good value and a quality installation, I’d highly recommend Deege Solar.

A great start, wobbly middle, great finish

Fantastic first impression with sales and talking about what I wanted/ needed. Had my installation date moved a few times due to supply issues. Great installation and waited on an Eddi ( not in stock with the manufacturer. Some small commissioning problems with the Eddi ( we shall find out soon enough if it is working properly), but eventually all sorted.All at the office have been helpful, but a special mention to Brittany who sorted out my handover pack and ensured everything is running properly.I would recommend without hesitation,but try to hold them to an install date…..

Professional manner

Professional manner, will go above and beyond. Me and my wife are very happy with our system, we started receiving our seg payments recently too. Special thanks to Brittany from compliance who explained that to me and my wife how it all works and kept us in the loop whilst we waited for the dno approval to come back. This part was long winded, however credit where due Brittany and her team went the extra mile to chase this for me and my wife. Our installers were also very professional a big thanks to Richie and Mick. Can not thank them enough.

It’s been long winded but can not thank the deege team enough, they have constantly tried their hardest to keep us in the loop. Me and my mother decided to go ahead with Deege because although they face issues like all companies at some stage their integrity is admirable. Proper job done ✅

Happy in the end

We had many issues with our installation & I found it very hard to get through to anyone and when I did was promised a call back which never happened. The lack of customer care is pretty shocking. I finally demanded to talk to a senior member of the team when I received a call from David's PA. She was Terrific! explained my concerns and issues I was having and she really went above and beyond to help. She gave me her number so any enquires or concerns I could get in contact. She really worked her magic in resolving my issues. She was always updating me and letting me know what was going on. She liaised with the tech team, sent me out new dongles, booked in fitters she was just such a delight and what I would call a ray of sunshine. I now have a fully working system which is generating. I couldn't be more happier! Thank you Iolanda for all your help! Thank you Deege for a great system. I'm loving being plugged into the sun!

Abysmal service resulting in having to make a charge back via my bank.

My advice to anyone reading this would be to avoid deege solar at all costs and save yourself time, effort and alot of stress.They clearly cannot provide an adequate service and have bitten off more than they can chew whilst trying to jump on the gravy train of the energy crises and taking on way too many customers that they cannot handle.I have absolutely no doubt that deege solar has the worst communication of any company I have had the displeasure in dealing with (this also includes between their own departments)My order was placed in August 2022 with an installation date set for mid December 2022... I payed a deposit of nearly £3000.My first installation didn't go ahead as I was informed a few days before installation (due to negligence and having to let some employees go).My installation was then rescheduled for late January 2023 and this is where everything went sour.I had already tried to contact deege solar over 2 days prior to the installation date to get some information about the scaffolding. The installation department never answered so i had to telephone sales who answered every time... i was given the generic "someone will call you back" response for the 2 days leading up to the installation.It is now the day of installation and between 09:30 - 12:00 I tried to contact deege solar several times to find out what was happening and couldn't get through.I then received a call at approx 12:30 asking me what date I would prefer for my new installation date which just baffled me! Absolutely zero communication at this point! I wasn't even offered an apology but I was told that they had sent out an email to all customers informing them that they were struggling to source parts and they there would be delays... I never received one... I couldn't believe that they wouldn't contact customers directly to inform them that their Installation was effectively cancelled.At this moment I decided to cancel my installation because I dreaded the thought of having to chase the company any longer and I was given a cancellation document the next day.The document stated 2-3 days for someone to look into and confirm the cancellation...I waited 4 days and then spent another 4 days trying to contact deege solar because once again I received no communication to confirm if I would be infact receiving my money back.I then received an email stating that I need to give my bank details and that it would take up to 28 days to process the refund.I then waited 28 days but bingo! No refund.I then tried to contact deege solar again to no avail and was left with only 2 options... either contact my bank or seek legal advice.Thankfully I was able to initiate a charge back which at that point had been 36 days since cancellation and 41 days total to recieve my money back through my bank.Shame on you deege solar for treating your customers this way.
