I think the service was great! I received a response very quickly. The service team made me feel safe and cared for. They gave me good advice on how to stay safe and avoid scammers. They also advised me on what to do in case I come across more. I do really feel like they take this issue seriously.

Customer service is atrocious. Stay well away. Purchased item as described as small adults but clothing label was extra large boys and also item described as no marks or stains but in fact had a huge stain on the front. Raised to customer service and they just closed the case. Now been raised to financial ombudsman.Stay well away from buying anything on DEPOP as the buyer is not covered. First and last time using this tin pot outfit.
WARNING do not buy from these people and if you do stupidly do so ask for a more detailed description of the item e.g colour and size and how many people have previously owned it etc. Committ them to give details in writing before you purchase. I lost money because they simply failed to give a description of the colour. I thought it look a grey in thr photo and it turned out to be light green . I Googled the product and it was in fact light green. I asked for a refund which they denied saying thr description was correct when in fact there was no description only a picture. Now they have happily kep my money for sometomg I have no use for . UTTER NONSENE . DO NOT BUY FROM Depoo.
My Depop account was suspended without any valid reason. I asked several times for a specific explanation, but customer service only replied with generic references to their policies and “security reasons,” without telling me what exactly I did wrong.I am certain this was a mistake, as I did not violate any rules. From reading other reviews, it seems that many users have had similar experiences.What disappoints me most is the impersonal and copy-paste tone of Depop’s support. It feels automated and dismissive rather than helpful. The lack of transparency and refusal to provide a real explanation makes the whole process very frustrating.I want others to be aware of how Depop handles account suspensions and customer support. A platform that blocks accounts without specific justification and responds with templates instead of real answers does not inspire confidence. I sincerely hope Depop improves its communication and support processes.
Great guidelines for buyers and sellers to abide by. Clear instructions on how to return items and get your money back. The only thing that irks me is the time refunded money from a canceled sale or returned item might take to be returned. Other than that I love the app!
