Never using this company again

Never using this company again. Placed an order for a blackmagic pocket 6k as they stated 2-3 weeks delivery. At 3 weeks, this changed to 3-4 weeks. After 6 weeks I still haven't received the camera and was told by customer services they don't know when they will get them in stock, (gutting but understandable given that most places don't have them in stock). At this point, I asked for a refund and was told to send an email. Email sent same day. Despite multiple phone calls and constantly being told the refund will be processed I still haven't received a refund even though they have confirmed they have received my email for a refund. It is now 10 days and I am still out of pocket £1637. Just to put this into perspective. I placed an order for the same camera on the day I asked for a refund from a different retailer, camera shipped, delivered and I've already used it for a shoot. Digibroadcast has attractive prices but the service is shockingly poor, it's definitely not worth the hassle. Looks like I'll be contacting the Ombudsman to take this further.

Awful customer sevice

I ordered 1 MFT from this website. This is the first time and definitely the last time I do it in my life. Awful customer service ever! They have never keeped their words and very unfailful! I saw the item on their website showed up as 'available for next day delivery', that was why I decided to ordered it from this web instead of another one. But that was my big mistake. Since my money was charge it was such a nightmare for waiting. 3 days from their promise 'next day delivery', I've got an email from them said, unfortunately the item was out of the stock and it would take about 1 week instead of 1 day. Fine, i was fine to wait 1 week. But then 1 week passed, nothing happened. Another email told me, unfortunately again, I needed to wait it for 3 weeks more. I was not happy, but I had no choice. So fine. I was keep waiting. And then, 3 weeks passed. Still nothing happened. Email them for a check, no one answer. Another email to both customer and sale apaterment in 3 days afterthat, no one answer me. Everything silent liked they forgot their custumer totally! Finally I had to call them to ask for the check. The man with his english was not good enough and sound like he had no idea about. The only answer I had from him was ' Can you just send an email to us and someone will reply you'. After alot of frustrating, finally I got the check. They had the lens there but they just forgot to send it to me like they promised ('since we got the lens we will send it straight away to you for next day delivery)I feIt very unhappy and asked for a cancel. But they again made their promise for the next day delivery. And again, nothing coming in the next day. I just got the lens on my hand about 1 week after that! Very very unhappy. I checked the lens and it didn't fix my camera. I request for a return. Like usual, no respond! After alot of frustrating to try to contact them and keep waiting an email from their unworkflow. The lens was checked as alright. But because it didn't fix my camera. I didn't want it back. I requested for refund. And again 2 weeks already, no one respond me after they made another lie promise ('we will comback to you tommorrow')Well, if you have enougt patient. Stay and play with them. I'm done. Never ever again!!! R.I.P OFFPs: another update: after they checked my lens return. Nothing wrong with the lens. It doesn't fix my camera but when I ask for the refund they said no. The reason was so funny: It lost a nilon bag (what they called form or whatever inside the box (?!)) Which I quite sure it wasn't their because I unbox the lens, tried on my camera and inbox again straign away. But they said because the foam was lost. That kind of thing can be a good reason for them to refuse the return. Very funny!!!! So you guys, very becareful when you order stuff on this web. Make sure you never ever had any idea about the return whatever you got because you have no chance to do that. They will work around and make you feel very frustrating and then you have give up. For me now. The lens doesn't fix my camera but I couldn't return the lens back. The lens was unbox but I didn't damage it or made any mark on it. They confirmed that as well. Why I couldn't return it?! It took me 2 months suffering from their awful service. Whenever I needed their support, I had to call then email again and again, worked around so hard then had to wait for a week for them to reply an email. But when I had complant, they fighted back to me straight away! The way they work just so funny!

So I ordered a rode microphone but turns out because of the current situation that no electronic store around Europe can get a hold of them for another 4 weeks. Not digibroadcasts fault just unfortunate but an employee with a name starting with M *don't want to missspell his name because he was really helpful* helped me out when I phoned up and found me a mic that is just as good but cheaper but I have to get a pop filter from somewhere else which isn't an issue and he also got it next day delivered like a legend.Let me just say his customer service was excellent too.

I ordered and paid for a external drive, a few days later I got a email to say that the item was no longer available, their system had not updated the stock level, and a refund was forth coming, I received the refund some days later. The reason for the poor rating, is that a week later the item I bought was still advertised as available, and I could put it in my checkout basket, and also get to the payment screen, and yet they said it was unavailable. I cannot trust this company regarding items for sale, for that reason they have lost a customer. So I will not be using them again.

Refund problem

Buyers beware - from my recent experience, Digibroadcast may not refund you fully in case of a return.I purchased a Datavideo teleprompter from them on the 8 Jan 2020. The item arrived OK, but it does look like it’s been in storage for some time and two adhesive residue marks are visible on the front, left by product instruction labels being left there far too long. The marks are tolerable, but the teleprompter itself is too small for my lens so I returned it.I can see it reached them on the 20 Jan. After waiting 9 days, and on my second calls, they have finally bothered to inspect the item and send me a refund. However, it was not a full refund. They have taken £60 off from the total price of £366.17 and emailed me a list of problems - including scratch, marks (the same glue marks that were there when I received it), and a missing allen key. They also accused me of having used the item frequently before returning it.Having been in the industry for 20 years and operating on a professional level, I simply wouldnt bother to buy an item to use it and then return it. I buy my equipments from reputable UK companies like Wex and London Camera Exchanges, I always paid in full. If I need something for a day I use rental, for much less cost.I dont recognise the scratch, marks and missing part that they accused me of.I think they are simply unwilling to accept a return - which is part of normal business and in accordance with UK laws. Perhaps they have had bad experience from other buyers but that does not mean that they can apply their own draconian rules, make things up and direct blind accusation to ALL those who happened to buy and have to return on good faith.That could be you. AVOID-------And may I reiterates that their response below to my genuine experience is false. They apparently want me to make more purchase. Their product is old and stuck in their warehouse for ages, then they blame me, a genuine customer for returning it. Just beware of bad businesses especially in this difficult time when we should look after each other.

Thoroughly impressed with the customer…

Thoroughly impressed with the customer service and price offered by Digibroadcast! I purchased a Blackmagic 4K from them and it arrived in mint condition the other day, so happy with it. Would definitely recommend shopping from them if you’re a sucker for discounts like me!

I have been shopping with Digibroadcast…

I have been shopping with Digibroadcast for few years now. Their support and service has always been quick and efficient. My last purchase with Digibroadcast was for Blackmagic Pocket 4k camera which I had to wait for 2 months to get but well worth it. Pocket 4k is such a powerful little beast. To be honest I had deposits with other shops too and the next time Blackmagic decides to release the new camera I will do the same. Keep my options open.. Thanks to their customer service department which have been great.

Quick and easy purchase on your website…

Quick and easy purchase on your website but not very happy with a courier you use as my box was damaged upon the arrival. Luckily the content was safe and cheers to the guy who handled my nearly panic attack over the phone. I don't know what I would do if something happened to my camera as I had a shoot that day with really really important VIP client (cannot say shhh) Customer support was fantastic BUT PLEASE, do not use DPD EVER and next time I will give you 5 stars. :)

Very Poor customer service

Not very pleased with the customer service I received. contacted them for a faulty Came TV lights early August I was advised by Abdur to fix it by myself while they will send the faulty parts, told them I can’t do it as I know nothing about fixing it, So I requested for the lights to be returned to them for repair. the communication was very poor they were very slow in replying to my emails and it took two months and a bunch of email to them before the’ve sent me a “Repair request Form” with an unreasonable excuse for why it took them so long to reply on my emails. Then I was told once they’ve received the product they will send it to Came TV in China to be repaired. Now I’ve paid £19.44 for the faulty product to be returned to them as they said they don’t do free post or arrange free collections for their goods. So be careful and prepare to pay the return fee if you have somehow received a faulty product from them.

Ordered a camcorder that was allegedly…

Ordered a camcorder that was allegedly in stock and delivery of 1-2 days. Item WAS NOT in stock and got lost in transit. The refund process was slow and arrived too late for me to purchase from another store for when it was needed.Unhelpful staff who are very sly on telling the truth.Beware if ordering, and ideally do it over the phone.WILL NOT USE EVER AGAIN SO DON'T BE TEMPTED BY THEIR PRICES...THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON WHY THEY ARE THAT BIT CHEAPER.
