My one star is based solely on support…

My one star is based solely on support and customer service. I have been in practice for 30 years and used chrono for the past couple of years. They have by far the WORST technical support team of any company I have ever dealt with, not just EMR. Their response time is extremely slow. Then and even after a "ticket is set up, problems are rarely addressed. I have several issues that have not been addressed going on one year. Stay away

New Dermatology Practice

In starting my practice, I did several EMR demos. Dr Chrono was by far the easiest to navigate, customize, and understand. The support staff has been extremely responsive, and I've never felt like the system lacked for anything. My billing team likes the interface for their services as well. Best of all, the price point is difficult to beat. I feel that going with Dr Chrono was the single best decision in starting my new practice and I have already recommended many of my dermatology colleagues to their program.

They are dishonest

They are dishonest. They do not tell you they outsource their billing to another country (India) and patients calls are directed to (Thailand). I specifically asked to have my billing done in my region (not even knowing they plan to outsource) and was promised it wouldn’t be an issue. It was during training (if u can call it that!) we realized the above facts. Training is also done from India and time difference puts them doing it at 2 am their time, half sleep, perfunctory overview, and only half hour instead of full hour spent. We decided not to use dr Chrono when we were training. Never used the program or billing, as we were dissatisfied. Now they want $65,000. Stay away. We plan to file a class action suit as other physicians have had these issues. Write if u also were lied to.

Wonderful

Wonderful, intuitive program with excellent support. What more could you want from an EMR. It is the best of the programs we have used over the last 20 years. I would recommend DrChrono without hesitation!

unethical billing practice

I used to be a drchrono customer but had moved on to a different EHR. When an old client requested records I contacted drchono and they agreed to let me access records in a read only format. I failed to read their lengthy contract fully and have ended up paying for 18 months of access ($900) despite only needing one client record. Although their actions may be legal they are unethical and I want to warn other clinicians about them.

150k lost just last year

Like everyone else, we have had just a terrible time with the billing aspect of this company. We lost 150k in one year because dr chrono’s billing team (which is outsourced to another country) didn’t do even a small portion that they are contracted to do. Didn’t follow up on denials, had the audacity to send claims back to the practice with issues like “there’s a place of service error” or asking the practice for coding clarification that the billing team is responsible for. This is not uncommon as is evident by all the reviews, the issue lies in that the company feels like they can continue to charge the client for services that aren’t rendered. This is a breach of contract, yet they continuously say they are working on the issue. At this point, I have been told I renewed my contract recently, however they have yet to provide said contract showing my signature. The services, or lack of, have been so bad that I told my rep they could pay me 50k a year to stick with the billing tram and I would still refuse, because I would be losing more than that staying with them.

Remittance report issues with no resolution time frame

We are a small practice and we are having issues with our remittance reports not being transmitted to Dr Chrono, this is a known issue for Chrono. We asked what the resolution time frame is I am told that the developers are working as quickly as possible to get this resolved. This interferes with our daily functions and this should be able to be fixed and/or a time frame should be able to be given. I understand that issues happen but a time frame should be given and upheld. Is this a issue we have to worry about in the future?

I would give service 0 stars if possible

I would give 0 stars if possible for the service department. I have had an issue for 2 months now with my prescriptions showing up on another practice's reports. I work in pain management in one clinic, and with MAT in another, both clinics use Dr. Chrono. I have different user names and passwords for the 2 clinics. The opioids are showing up under my log in on the MAT reports, and not on the pain management log in. This started right after I had to switch verification apps for EPCS. I send weekly requests for updates, but all I get is a generic "we're looking into it" even when I ask for details. So fed up!!!One day later: I guess all it took was to write this review to have my issue fixed. What had been delayed for 2 months was fixed in 5 hours after I posted this review. We'll see what issues pop up next.Two days later: I looked at my prescription report under my login for MAT, all my pain management prescriptions are still there so it looks like I am prescribing opioids to patients in drug abuse treatment. I also saw that refill requests are coming in under the wrong log in, an issue that has been "fixed" at least 2 times before.

    The DrChrono EHR offers fully customizable forms or prebuilt forms. Any prescription, including Electronic Prescribing Controlled Substances, can be sent electronically on iPhone, iPad, or the Internet. Lab orders can be submitted electronically to over 40,000 labs around the United States; results can then be directly uploaded into the patient’s chart. Custom vitals give providers the ability to create baseline health data and monitor each patient’s health measurements over time.

    Providers can use Free Draw function to annotate on diagrams, x-rays or other files; they can also use the iPad's built-in cameras to take pictures and embed them in the patient's record.
