They really need to up their shipping game if they want to compete with other players like Amazon. Ordered a jacket on Saturday. Got shipping notification on Sunday. Now it’s Wednesday night and according to Landmark Global, they still have not received the parcel and hence cannot start shipping it to me. Contacted Eddie Bauer via both phone and online chat and neither agent could tell me whether the jacket is still in their possession or with Landmark Global. They kept repeating the customer service line of “just wait 5-7 business days from shipping”. Not helpful at all. And who ships at such glacial speed nowadays.
Ordered two shirts. One on back order likely until 2026. Finally got the delivery and they sent pants. They want me to return the pants at my cost and the one shirt that was not on back order is now out of stock. Useless chat line and less helpful telephone assistance. Never again with Eddie Bauer
I have an expensive Evertherm jacket (current price $279) that I bought about two years ago, one of several Bauer products I have purchased over the years. It came with a "Guaranteed for Life" tag attached. Well, an electronically welded seam separated so I took it to the nearest Eddie Bauer store and was told they had stopped honoring those lifetime warranties, even though it was explicitly promised in writing.These lying thieves have lost a customer for life. I'll buy my rain gear and winter outerwear from L L Bean or Orvis in the future.
I ordered a pair of flannel lined jeans from Eddie Bauer. First of all, it took a week for them to tell me the jeans weren't in stock. A week after that, I saw it on sale for a lower price. But the worst was yet to come when I got the jeans. First, there was a flaw in the fabric which was visible on the backside. But the worst part was that after the first washing the jeans really no longer fit. They became baggy and exactly what I didn't want. In addition the denim is very thin and I doubt they would have lasted a year. My previous flannel lined jeans were from l.l. Bean and lasted almost fifteen years. My wife is planning to patch them together again. The only good news is that our home is not terribly warm and after my work out in the mornings I can use the eddie bauer pants after my shower as a kind of improvised loungewear.
Pure garbage ... they run off new customers ... I don't know why anyone would ever want to order or deal with them after making an order , as of now .. still waiting for order to ship , cant cancel an order within 30 mins , like they are so efficient that you cant cancel an order , its total bullshit ..... what am I waiting for the shit to be made in China first , total waste of time and money , they are shady AF! ... cant cancel so I bet if I want to return it will cost a ridiculous amount to send back ... these are bad capitalist players , makes me feel Gross honestly, they couldn't give a f*** about there customers, they would rather drown you with bureaucracy. Never Again !
I ordered four clothing items over two weeks ago. One item shipped and arrived on time. The other three items have still not shipped and customer service keeps saying it's a warehouse issue. I have called customer service three times and three times they have told me they would ship it within 24 hours. The items still have not shipped. I used to love Eddie Bauer, but now they have lost a loyal customer due to constantly lying about shipping products. If you don't have the products, then don't sell the products.
I ordered an XL sweatshirt. I received a sweatshirt with tags saying XL. However when I held it up it’s much much larger than an XL. The chest alone measures 52” which falls into Eddie Bauer XXL.I want to return it and I want a label because the mistake on size is an issue EB will have to take up with their supplier. Speaking to CHAT last night took 25 minutes and they don’t grasp the problem. They will not issue a return free label and I think this is very bad customer service. If I have to pay for a mistake on their end, I’m finished with this company.Kathleen Kendall
I got two matching jackets for my son and my husband, unfortunately they both said they don't le the color and I went back to the store two moths later. I have to say, I appreciate their accommodation to taking it back. Service is awesome, would definitely shop again
On October 12 I ordered from Eddie Bauer on the 21 of October they stated it's been shipped yet there's no tracking. They replied stating its been lost on like Oct 28. I asked for refund. Then I thought I would give them another chance on November 1 I ordered again. It is now November 11 and still hasn't shipped after they stated it will ship on November 8. Come on Eddie Bauer. Every other company out there is shipping right away.
