Should have read the reviews before ordering from this company. Worst online shopping experience ever. Have now been waiting 2 weeks for an order that continues to show “processing”. Customer service is non-existant. Please do yourself a favor, read the reviews and avoid this company.
God I wish I’d read these reviews before buying online. Like everyone else here, my online order seems to have been imaginary. I specifically waited until Black Friday to purchase a coat at an affordable price tag and after a lot of searching settled on Eddie Bauer. Like everyone else, I saw the 5-7 business days to process. Well it’s now been 2 weeks and there hasn’t been a peep since the day I ordered. When I track online, I see a very vague “in process” label under status which means absolutely nothing. So incredibly frustrated I wasted the Black Friday sales on a company that cannot be trusted. I’m gathering that the coat may never come, and I’m back to coat shopping without any discounts. Not to mention, it’s f***ing freezing outside. You really screwed me Eddie Bauer.
Ordered a jacket which was never delivered and never attempted to be delivered. Tracking stopped moving. I contacted customer service and Abhishek Gupta told me to figure it out myself, appalled by the zero service here.I was told they could not deliver because I have no buzzer code. I LIVE IN A HOUSE.Waste of time, money and absurd "service"
I placed an order for a jacket that was in stock. Its now been 2 weeks and they still haven’t shipped it. I have called several times to check on the status and they give me a ship date and then that day passes and my order still is in “processing”. One agent just started making up excuses saying it was a pre-order item. No it was not. Thats a lie. The customer service agents are clearly outsourced to another country as i can hear the background noise. Kids crying, dogs barking, random conversations. Noisy. After giving all of my identification, address, phone, email, they still asked if I was calling from the United States. What? Truly bizarre customer service experience. After two weeks i again called and asked to just cancel the order. They could not cancel the order because according to them its waiting for carrier pick up. I asked again, what day is being shipped. The agent couldn’t even give me a date or a tracking number or anything. If its awaiting pick up as they claim, theres a lable created and i should be able to see that. They dont have one because they are lying. It feels like theft because it is. Stay away from this company. They are scammers.
Awful experience with customer service. The jacket I purchased had a defective zipper. When I purchased the jacket there was a lifetime warranty. I was offered a $10 gift card to replace a jacket worth $300 and was told the policy changed and the jacket was no longer covered under warranty. Not only bad customer service but now I am stuck with a defective product.
Ordered a jacket. CC was billed. No order confirmation arrived. Spoke to an agent. They were not able to tell me if the order would even process and that it would be cancelled if it didn't process. I said that would not work for me and asked to cancel the order, The agent could not cancel it and told me to wait for a shipping confirmation. This was a day after the purchase. Don't order anything from Eddie Bauer.
I have several issues. First, my order was supposed to be sent from North York Toronto. I don't know why it's taking so long. Secondly, my items are being sent separately. Thirdly there was an issue with the payment I was charged a second time on my credit card ( see email thread ) and fourthly, now there's a service delay.This is unacceptable.I ordered the clothing for a work uniform. I need what I paid for sent to me as soon as possible with a partial refund.
I guess I should have read the reviews before I bought something from them. I purchased a coat and within 13 days from receiving it it went on sale for over 1/2 off. I called to get a price match and first they said they have a 7 day price match policy after asking for a manager she said she would do 20%. I asked to speak to a manager and he would not do anymore either. That is poor customer service Valynn and I will never shop at Eddie Bauer again.
Ordered 2 sweatshirts on 11/10. Card charged and never received shipping confirmation. Called on 11/18 to ask about order. Was given about 8 different reasons why my order is not ready yet. I asked if it is not in stock, just tell me. Not the reason. Its warehouse issues. I asked to speak to manager and was told they were busy, would call me back in an hour. Never happened. Called again 11/20. Was told warehouse issues. Should be “shipped” by 11/27. WTF. What kind of company is this? Was told manager would be calling me witin 48 hours. Wanted to cancel order, but worried about getting reimbursed. I’ll give it another couple days on this one because i really wanted the sweatshirts. But…..never again will I order from this company again. Id encourage others to steer clear!!!!!
I had purchased a winter outerwear online from EB in October. They failed to deliver it to my billing address. They gave me a refund, and honestly I really liked the product so I purchased it again. It has been 3 weeks since; last week I called their customer service and they said they it is in transit and they will deliver it by this week. I called them again today to find out the product has been shipped back to their warehouse. EB, with the numerous horrible reviews, I can fully say that you guys don't give a rats a** about your customers. You lost a customer today (me!), and you will continue to do so until you start caring how you make your customers feel.
