Review Time
I was worried after reading many negative reviews, but decided to give it a shot for our bathroom renovation (taps, shower, mixer etc.). No complaints really, prices are way better than in Irish stores, quick delivery, good packaging and great communication. My personal experience is very positive.
I read the reviews below thinking surely it couldn't happen to me as well, BUT it did. When I ordered over 3000 Euros worth of items I checked that all were immediately available (order # 2868847) , I have a plumber waiting to install these items. I just received an email that states delivery will be delayed because one or more items are not in stock and have to be ordered. So after receiving the email I checked all the items and their website states all are STILL immediately available ??? I ordered from the site because on some items they are cheaper and advertised immediate availability and their so-called Best Price Guarantee (someone needs to improve the translation - it is not as it says). The other large online retailer starting with Sky.. is cheaper on more items but all need to be ordered by the retailer. I feel I have been tricked. The key message is buy ELSEWHERE if you are looking for good prices and can wait for delivery.UPDATED: 29/5/2019 I rang the service team (Dena) who were very helpful and apologiesd. They split the delivery sending available items immediately.I should receive them tommorrow afternoon by UPS. Hopefully I should receive the other items next week.
Placed an order for bathroom items on the 15.3.2019. Order 2760477. All items were in stock. Payment confirmation received from Reuters on the 21.3.2019. All items still in stock. Received email on 28.3.2019, to say the order would take another 10 working days.Disgraceful customer experience. They had the items in stock but never sent the order out on the 21.3.2019. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks plus!!!Basic items most retailers have in stock, so do not understand the delay. No explanation offered by Reuters.Since posting this review, the store have offered to split the delivery and send half out now and the other missing item at a later date. As a goodwill gesture, they are covering the extra delivery cost. Finally getting somewhere!
Terrible experience. Purchased a sofa on line. First of all they only do a curb side delivery - for a sofa!Attempted delivery of the sofa - a lorry turned up, one person only delivery - he was unable to off load the sofa as his equipment was too narrow for the Width of the pallet. Of course can't manually offload as only 1 person delivery. So drove off with the item still in the back of the lorry. Then received an email from Reuter asking to pay 240 euros for 2 men delivery. That's on top of 160 Euro already paid. The delivery company told me they do not have a suitable vehicle to deliver. It's been 2 weeks since the attempted failed delivery. No response from Reuter despite numerous emails. Absolutely ridiculous and the worst experience ever. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Now have to go through my credit card company to see if I can get my money back.
On 16.01.2019 I bought 8 items from the Reuter Shop. ALL the items I bought were marked for IMMEDIATE delivery to France (1-3 days). Delivery cost was over 100 €. The payment was received on the same date 16.01.2019 and confirmed by the shop. On the 17.01.2019 I received an email saying that some items are not in stock so my delivery can take minimum 14 days (and maybe even more). This is unacceptable. The shop did not appologise and did not offer any compensation.
Terrible customer service and misleading delivery timeExpected times provided at their website are not realistic. In the order i placed 2-3 weeks was/is still advertised versus 6-7 weeks as per the customer service information when enquired. Take a long time to credit the money back to the credit card. Conversely, they charge the credit card on the same day when a order is placed even if they take 6-7 weeks to fulfill the order.Don’t recommend
EXCELLENTI placed two orders with Reutershop for all the bathroom fittings for a new build house.We had quoted the exact items from local showrooms and the Reutershop price was almost half of that.Like many I was also slightly concerned about the negative reviews, but they seemed to be mainly related to delivery times. Because we had time to plan, and because the price was so much less, we decided to take the chance and placed the orders with them.And we are so glad we did.Yes, one of the orders arrived a few weeks later than first advised because they did not have one item in stock, but it was nothing excessive and it still arrived well before it was needed. I see many reviews complaining about dispatch delays but this is not the only online ordering shop where this has happened. I have placed orders with other online shops that have trustpilot 5 stars and they have also delayed shipments by up to 2 months due to not having stock.One of the items was damaged in transit and I thought "oh well that is part of the risk". But no, after contacting them they replaced it without hesitation, delivery and everything, immediately.All in all, if I was to ever fit out another bathroom I would definitely be using Reutershop again.
Hi,I read a lot of reviews before buying from Reuter and was a bit worried seeing the bad reviews here on this site but I must say that my experience with them has been amazing:1. Order for over 3000€ of material (all being in stock so no surprises on delivery)2. Communicatons by email regarding order progress, ETS and tracking has been very, very good with tracking links etc...3. Reception has been completed in less than 15 days but on arrival a toilet bowl came in as broken so....4. Sent a full photos report with a detailed email with all ref. numbers I coud find to the email detailed on their website5. No reply after 2 days, called them and got to speak with them within 5 minutes, very nice person on the other line6. 5 min after hanging up the phone received an email to confirm I will receive a replacement within 10 days, free of charge (no shipping costs)7. Received the same level of details regarding the shipment of my replacement item, actually spoke to Reuter and their shipping company to make sure they protected the item better this time8. Received the item a few days later in perfect condition...9. THANK YOU REUTER!10. I thought seeing the reviews here that it would be somehow at least not THAT easy but I've been blown away by the efficiency....Maybe many bad reviews come from people ordering from outside the EU (in which case there are import taxes....) or ordering items not in stock and they get surprised by the delivery time but in my case it´s been as, if not more, smooth as with the biggest internet selling companies...BestR
Terrible service. I have Ordered a sink with (according to the website) a maximum of two weeks delivery time. I am now waiting for app. 2 months and according to customer service, it will take another two to three weeks before my sink will arrive. Of course this can happen, but in the meantime the delivery time of this same sink on the website remained two weeks! I called Reuter to ask for faster delivery twice and -when this proved to be impossible- to point out that it is not correct to state a delivery time on your website which you know it is incorrect. In my opinion this is intentionally misguiding your customers. Reuter simply did not care and stated that the website information was correct. How this is possible eludes me. I have placed the rest of my order at Megabad and was considerably better served there.
