Review Time
We had someone from Equinox come along to fix our TV. He literally took the TV apart on our kitchen table explained what the problem was and fixed it immediately. Then he helped us put the TV back on the wall reset it re tuned all the channels and left. Our TV is like new. Brilliant service,very nice engineer and frankly I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before hand. The communication was really good too. We are really happy.
This is an ongoing negative experience I am having with Equinox. Absolutely atrocious company with zero customer service. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for my faulty TV to be fixed and the engineer arrived today (after previously cancelling an appointment with me without informing me of such). The TV is still not working and I now have to await further time while they source a different part, not knowing whether this will fix my issue or not. If my TV is fixed before Christmas I will be thankful as this has already caused a lot of stress and wasted my time and money.They are the company that Domestic and General use with Sky Protect. You would think these reputable companies would care more about their image but they do not care less.
The worst company I have even known. No customer service. No information after dropping my printer off to be fixed. After many times trying to get hold of them. They wanted to charge me for a full set of inks which it didn’t need. Chased again . Not answering the calls and then after I sent them three emails asking what’s happening. They finally email saying they can’t get the part and should they dispose of it £800 printer. NO I will collect it and want a refund of the initial deposit as I told them what was wrong and they still couldn’t fix it. A complete JOKE ! Do not use this company!!
I had a very bad experience with Equinox. BenQ uses them for their return/replacement service.Their drivers are supposed to come to your house to pick up the parcel to return. They NEVER show up. Equinox will ask you to arrange another collection day, then another, then another, then another, you get the gist. I suggested dropping the parcel at a collection point. They refused.While they respond quickly to emails (within 24 hours), their answers are not really helpful (saying sorry and asking for yet another collection day).
The worst company I have ever experienced. Repair booked by Philips using this company and the engineer only half completed the job, when I highlighted to him he raised his voice and argued with me in my own home! He finally agreed to fix the issue and then stormed out of my house when it was done. When I realised he’d left, I checked the TV to see that there were large deep scratches over the display that weren’t there before. WhenI tried to phone this bunch of cowboys it was. 40 plus minutes each time to get through. I arranged another repair for the issue through Philips and the same engineer turned up and suddenly left. He told me he’d been advised not to repair. When I checked with customer service he’d told them the TV was fine and didn’t need repaired. Liar and a fraud.If I see this company’s name on anything again I was cancel and run for the hills!
Equinox replaced our Samsung tv screen under our D&G / Argos accidental damage insurance policy. We were initially contacted by Equinox by telephone to discuss the fault and were kept informed of progress by email at all stages. The engineer was polite, on time and replaced the screen to our satisfaction.
Where do I start terrible terrible customer service the staff do nothing but lie to you you could call ten times a day but get a different answer each time. The manager ‘Emma ‘ is useless and tells lies the company isn’t fit for purpose . Worst still they continue to put lies in writing only further strengthening my case to take this further. Ultimately it’s a £300 tele they must have spent nearly that trying to fix it . For me it’s the principle of it being a totally scam company I won’t let this drop
Domestic and General organised a repair for our pressure washer with this company. They were supposed to make contact to complete the repair within 48hrs. After 3 days I rang them to be told they were scheduled to collect the pressure washer that day. They would need to keep it for up to 2 weeks. That is no good to us, so we cancelled the repair and the insurance. The engineer then rang to say he was on his way to pick up our hoover !!! Not a very professional company. I am surprised at Domestic and general using them.
