Review Time
Unfortunately it’s not allowing me to give (-)or 00 to this company give me 3 appointments and no technician came in for the repair yet. Also the phone line to contact them is extremely long I have waited long time for them to answer 2 hours and 16 minutes I am still waiting for them to answer my call stay away from this company if you can please.
I had to give one star otherwise I couldn't have written a review. But, this company doesn't even deserve one star. Between the 18th November and the 15th December, ths company made 3 appointments with me to come to fix my TV and 3 times the repair man did not turn up. I took days off work unpaid and waited in, the excuses given were weak and unapologetic. I have written to Tony Hall the MD of the company who hasn't bothered to reply . Stay away from this company if you want good service.
My TV broke down on Thurs 3rd Nov, at which point I contacted D&G, who put me in touch with this terrible company, not sure why D&G are working with them, but they are just as bad as Equinox!D&G Email stated that a technician from Equinox would be in touch within 2 working hours, however when Equinox sent an email they stated that they would be in within 2 working days, left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing!Well after numerous emails and calls to Equinox and D&G, I still not have a received a call from Equinox and D&G are not willing to help.The problem with the TV is that the picture has gone, so why does a so called technician need to call to diagnose the issue? beyond belief!
Less than one star Domestic & general use this company for some repairs. My Vacuum taken for repair on 4th October ….it’s a gtech so easily replaced parts…I’m still waiting for it’s return having made numerous phone calls and two formal complaints. 23 days and still waiting. Domestic and general normally very good but equinox letting them down badly. Do not use this company.
Absolute poor customer service. Tv insured with D&G who told me call back within 2 working hours, text states 1 working day no call back. 2nd working day I phone D&G who put a further request in still no call back end of day I am calling D&G who put me through to a landline number and the customer service advisor just tells me straight to phone the other number and she doesn’t know the options and in all honesty this person didn’t want to be on the phone at all. I’ve now lodged a complaint with D&G. I hope they don’t renew their contract.
Unfortunately one star is the lowest we can use as this company deserves NO stars. Never, ever use them. Philips arranged for our virtually brand new tv to be send to this company for repair. Months later with no communication despite calling and being cut off numerous times we received an email saying the tv was being delivered back to us…. No show….. no explanation …. No communication again. Philips customer service agreed to fast track a complaint but we never heard back from them. Philips should be ashamed sending their products to be repaired by this company. We bought the tv via Amazon who were amazing and refunded us in full when we explained. Today an email arrived from Tewkesbury saying that owing to the length of time the repair was taking Philip’s would offer us a like for like tv on a first come first served basis. NO…… never Philips again and never ever Equinox. We just wished that we had read all of the bad reviews before we let them take our tv. Our new tv arrives tomorrow. Well done Amazon.
Terrible been waiting more than 2 months to fix my TV. First time text was on way then nothing. After another hr trying to get through get another appointment and they turn up with a broken screen then left for another month after I kept chasing them to try get my TV fixed then turn up with a screen that's not compatible with my TV. A week later still not heard from them and sit on phone for hr again yes a manager will call you in 20 minutes an hr later nothing don't use this company its a cowboy outfit. Phillips tv forced me to use them when their TV broke in less than a year.
Wouldn't recommend this company after a very poor experience after having them assigned as a repair agent by Domestic & General.They emailed myself requesting more information on my product, I replied the day after due to it being the evening that they emailed and a week later with no further communication off them I recieve communication off Domestic and General to say that they were closing down the claim.After a bit of phoning about it was due to Equinox claiming that they never recieved the email even though I have proof that It was sent and all the agent said was oh I can reopen the call.Ummm what and wait a week for the part to be recieved at your centre on top of the week already waiting for nothing and then a further 5-7 days for a fitting appointment.So back onto Domestic and Geto write item off but funny enough had a phone call within an hour off Equinox asking for details saying they didn't have certain information even though it was within the email they sent to me asking me to confirm.Forward to the next day and yet again repair has been cancelled and Equinox claims that I asked for the repair to be closed, even though I never mentioned this and the agent said as I was awaiting to see if D&G would write off the product it would be best to wait for the outcome before ordering the part.They miss emails when you put in complaints and don't respond to requests of having the recordings of phone calls even though this puts them in brach of ICO regulations and GDPR.Total mess and wouldn't go with them and will make sure that any future repairs via D&G I have don't use this repair agent.I have submitted a formal complaint with D&G about this repair agent so hoping some5hing is done as they totally don't cate about customer service
Really glad I read these reviews. I cancelled my engineer appointment with Equinox and informed D&G that under no circumstances did I want one of their engineers to call. I would say I can’t understand why they do not do repairs onsite when visiting customers who have been referred by D&G. I think D&G need to think very hard before appointing such a company to do repairs.
