This company is disgraceful

This company is disgracefulLost my vacuum and they had the cheek to say they have done their part and I need to chase DHL.Valentina is the rudest advisor I have spoken to at Equinox, I will be reporting them to D&G. This women was not helpful at all. complete disgrace.

They was meant to come out to actually…

They was meant to come out to actually repair my tv after leaving it 2 weeks . They booked in in. I took a day off to messages from service centre in the morning telling me to have the tv off the wall ready . This I did however no time slot . I called in at 2.30pm as had enough of waiting to an agent apologising no time slot with an ETA of 4.30. Well low and behold no engineer. At 5.15pm I phoned back knowing I would be fobbed off . The engineer phone is turned off . Guess what no call , no repair .Day off wasted . Stuck with a broken tv off the wall . Absolutely awful . I bet the complaint will take ages as their service is shocking . They expect me to take another day off with god knows how long to get a person to actually arrive to my house . Shocking .

Great experinence-restored my faith in British customer service

I have the insurance through Argos for my dyson vacuum. I cannot say how good and efficient the experience was getting my Dyson fixed. Such excellent service and my vacuum works perfectly now. Constantly updated via email about collections and drop offs. Really impressed. I usually have TERRIBLE time with companies but so impressed. Restored my faith. Whilst I am here avoid Virgin Media, RSA insurance and Wren kitchens worst companies I have dealt with-want to save people the hell of dealing with those cowboys but this firm were brill.

Fantastic service from Equinox through…

Fantastic service from Equinox through our Insurance with Domestic and General provided by John Lewis on our LG television. During wall mounting the screen cracked. This was on a Thursday late afternoon. I rang D&G immediately who told me they have passed it on to Equinox. I got a call back from Equinox within the hour of filing the repair. They acknowledged it and took all my details. The next day a technical engineer called to get the details of the damage and the parts were ordered there and then direct from LG. I received notifications throughout the entire process. As soon as LG had delivered the new screen panel I was called by Equinox. Unfortunately I missed the call but they left a voicemail, a text message AND an email to let me know. I rang them back and they booked me in for the same week. I was kept in the loop the entire time and was even called the day of the repair to be given an ETA of arrival. Even when they got held up, I was called immediately to be updated. Jay and his colleague arrived, dressed in very smart shirts and ties and used gloves the entire time, taking extra care. They respected our property and we're very polite and helpful. They had the new screen installed in no time and it looks fabulous. I cannot fault the service and speed at which we got our repair done. It took just under a week from reporting issue, parts been ordered and delivered from LG, to installation. Fantastic, thank you.

Two missed appointments

Two missed appointments. Engineer finished early on Friday without doing my repair. Said he is stuck in traffic. Second engineer date the person has not turned up and then has lied about visiting the property but didn't call me or left a card. All I have received is lip service from the company. Avoid at all costs if you have mental health issues. It made it very difficult to control the urge to self harm

Where to start? !!!!

This company works alongside other companies such as Viewsonic, they are the worst company I've ever delt with, lies and fake promises are their top priorities! Customer Service is very bad, I waited in the phone line for more than 1 hr despite being 1st in the queue! My projector was send to them for repairs for month ago and I've still not been informed of what's happening! Emails upon emails and yet nothing !!

Useless

Picked up my vacuum cleaner for a simple repair. Kept it for 2 weeks while waiting for a spare partReturned my vacuum with the wrong part replaced and with an incompatible part.They somehow managed to make the issue WORSE.Useless.Update: Received unit back after second repair, the still haven't fixed the incompatible part. 6 weeks and counting.

Avoid this company

I received my tv after one month.The screen was replaced.Returned with more problems:-the screen has on background a black dot -no sound -no Wi-Fi working Now waiting to see what happens.The worst company .Avoid this if you can.

Not prepared to find out how bad they are!

Having read these shocking reviews I have decided against using Equinox and will be arranging repairs myself, despite having a 5 year Domestic & General guarantee, which I assumed would use a reputable company for repairs. The reviews on here make it quite clear Equinox struggle with even the most basic repairs, returning TV's with new problems and often with cosmetic damage too, which paints a very poor picture of D&G and a significant fisk for the customer. Absolutely no way am I letting them near my like new £1,000 TV, so I will have the repairs carried out myself and then bill D&G, which they suggested when I raised my concerns. The company you choose needs to be VAT registered, you will need to submit an invoice after the repair in order to claim the cost back and you only need authorisation if the repair is over £200.

This company makes me feel sick to the stomach! & should be shut down!!

Like another reviewer I would give them zero stars! I'm sickened by this company my mum had a heart attack recently, she was babysitting my 14month old and used the apparently repaired hoover which I had made a complaint about prior to her using. I booked repairs to the power lead as I only had it a month and rode over the cable. Being that I have a child I couldn't just leave the exposed wire. So I had it picked up emailed etc and they arrived, however in the 2wks they had it not only did they not fix the cable its still exposed, they caused multiple damage to the hoover either that or its someone else's! Anyway my mum used it and it blew up smoke coming out! My baby was in the same room, this company are rude, lack morals don't care about putting people in danger and will not admit fault! Said they had photos etc and it's fixed! Funny they wouldn't send them to me, because they didn't apologise I started being rude back. They may aswell of told me that I was a liar and done the damage myself and that it didn't happen. Wanted to book in for another repair! No chance why would I send it back to them when it only had one fault and now has multiple! So to confirm my mum's story I took it into another room and sure enough sparks flew and I jumped out of the way! Smelt bad, so later I decided to use my mum's hoover she lent me! And now my baby runs away from hoovers! Thanks equinox not only could you of killed someone my baby now has a fear she didn't have! Avoid this company at all costs!!
