I was really happy with the onboarding experience. Some phone companies require you to receive an e-sim by post which totally defeats the purpose of- so being able to instantly establish my service with Felix was a major plus. I’ve found the coverage to be acceptable - however one big gap in the service is I can’t add a second e-sim for my Apple Watch which means I may need to end up moving to another provider
Felix Mobile has replaced my previous mobile carrier, which I've had for many years. I was lured by the unlimited data plan, as I use my phone as a hot spot to connect my laptop and I use a minimum of 100 GB per month. Most carriers in Australia have prepaid or postpaid plans for 100 GB at quite expensive prices and unlimited data for ridiculous prices. I was also lured by the fact that the company was new in Oz and they were offering a $35-plan for unlimited data, unlimited calls and SMS. I got a bonus for $5 for unlimited international calling. I have use the company for 3+ months and I couldn't be happier, how easy is to add or remove add-ons on the app, the quality and speed of the Internet that I get with it, the fact that uses 4G and the Vodafone network to operate. They are carbon neutral certified. They claim to plant a tree on our behalf for every month we're on one of their mobile plans. But they don't do so directly as they've partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organisation focused on global reforestation to plant the trees, i.e. they're supporting a great NGO but not planting trees directly like in Oz. We don't know where. It sounds off to me. They increased the pricing of their unlimited plan, short after I joined, but I was one of the few newcomers they kept the original $35, and now the unlimited plan is advertised at $40, which is lovely. The two major letdowns are, firstly, the basic design of the app and color scheme, and, most importantly, the limited customer service they offer. No phone number to call CS, no specific chat on their website. The only way to contact them is via WhatsApp or via the app chat. Contact via their website via desktop is poor and idiotic.
I have set up a plan for my dad who has had 2 strokes and is non verbal. We where having trouble connecting the SIM card so went onto there chat page (as there are no other ways of communicating with them). After letting them know my situation they refused to help me in anyway until they spoke to my dad (this is after informing them his is non verbal and had massive issues communicating)I find them completely unhelpful and completely insensitive to our situation. Only why I could get them to cancel our plan with them as I was sick of having to explain myself was to put a stop payment on the direct debits with our bank. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
Really good value for money. Super easy to switch from previous provider as well. Have switched about 6 months ago from Vodafone. Since they use Vodafone network I found it to be the same product for less money. Only con is the spotty network Coverage in rural areas but that's fairly standard for any network so 🤷🏻♀️
I have used the service of Felix for years and never had any problem with them. Fast mobile speed and okay coverage. Unlimited data for a reasonable monthly price. Paying the bill is also smooth and mostly automatic. You have to download their app but I don't complain about that. The Felix app works well.
I signed the felix two months ago and really happy with Felix. The speed is very fast and smooth. It is really much better than my present home NBN. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Felix.Recommended to all.IF HAVE SOMEONE INTERESTING TO SIGN UP AND ACTIVATE WE BOTH GET BONUS $35 IF YOU USE REFERRAL CODE "HW00203"
Tried joining Felix mobile but all too hard. Received simcard and tried to activate. Couldn't get past email & password. Uninstalled & installed app twice as advised by cso. Can't speak to person, only communicate via chat. Gave up & signed up with iinet. Don't have time to waste trying to get something to work nor have tech knowledge.
Great sustainability and environmental initiatives which I would love to continue supporting but unfortunately I do not recommend them to anyone who lives outside a city. Vodafone towers don't reach rural areas and I spend a lot of time with zero service which is a real shame as it works well when I have service but I can't pay for something that I can't rely on.
Great telco company, i switched to Felix Mobile almost 12 months ago and haven't had any problems. Internet speeds are great and fast i can hotspot to my playstation without interruptions. The refer a friend program really hits the top of the cake, great little bonus! The staff working for this telco are amazing people!
