TORTURE! I took flix from Rovinj to Venice. 6 f'n hours - no bathroom, no bathroom stop. What's wrong with this company? NEVER again. Better get on board with a diaper.NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Call service line, listen to 2 minutes of legal crap, then they just refer to their website.STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS, FIND ANOTHER WAY TO YOUR DESTINATION
The service was terrible. The seat was uncomfortable, and unexpectedly, the bus was canceled at night without any notification via email or message. We waited at the station for two hours ( because there was no other bus according to station service person) before booking another Flix bus.
Do NOT pay for a special seat. They will disregard this and tell you where to sit. I paid for the “panoramic view’ to sit in the front seat but the driver had his book bag in my seat and told me to sit behind it. Both seats behind the driver were empty. This is where I normally see bus drivers personal belongings. You should not take money to reserve seats and then not fulfill your deal. Bad customer service.
The bus was late for more than 2 hours, however I can’t request a refund, because it was unexpected circumstances. Haha. Always unexpectedThe problem is, the passengers were asked to wait in Perth until 2pm (around 2 hours), what is ridiculous, as the bus left Inverness 7:20 am and was supposed to be in Glasgow around 1 o’clock. My dad left the bus, paid extra to citylink to be on time for his flight!
Took a FlixBus from Huelva in Spain across the border to Faro in Portugal as there is evidently no trains that cross the border there. I paid extra to book seats so we could sit together but when we got in the bus our booked seats were taken and they weren’t willing to give them up for us so we ended up sitting in the only spare seats, right in front of the toilet. The toilet absolutely stank even though we were only the second stop on the journey. I was surprised it could smell so strongly when it only started its journey in Seville, about an hour away. Spending an hour and a half smelling urine was not ideal. Other than that the trip was fine and the bus wasn’t too hot despite the temperature outside being 34 Celsius. The bus as only 10 minutes late arriving to Huelva so not too bad.Strange thing: if you catch the bus from Huelva, there’s no information on FlixBus. The information boards at the bus station don’t list your bus, and the bus stands don’t list it. So you just have to wait around and hope you spot it when it arrives (it isn’t necessarily a Flix brand bus either). Thankfully a local helped us out and made sure we got on the right bus as two buses with the same number turned up at exactly the same time, going in opposite directions.
I have read the reviews and some are not the best. However, first time using Flixbus I have to say it was good. Leicester to London going was okay. Return journey really good. Made great time. Ansar the driver on the journey back was everything you expect “Excellent”. Hopefully if I use the service again I will not be disappointed. Coaches really clean, able to charge your phone easily. Could not fault the service, coach or drivers. Thank you.
There are a lot of bad bus reviews. But I've taken FlixBus for several weekends in a row and each experience has been just fine. I'm able to check and see if the bus is delayed, or running on time. I'm not bothered by other passengers (a plus!). The bus is quiet and clean and there's wi-fi and phone chargers (at least, so far). Each station in each city has its ups/downs but generally speaking, I haven't been disappointed and am grateful for a reliable, affordable option. I travel with one large suitcase (that goes in below the bus in the luggage space) and am generally pleased. P.S. The bus driver Rachel is amazing!
I’m traveling on FLIXbus with the inside temperature of 03oC AND OUTSIDE OF 14C . I FEEL LIKE WERE IN A FRIDGE- ACTUALLY MY FRIDGE IS WARMER. WTF!?Since posting the temp has risen to 27oC . 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I should have commented earlier 👍🏻
Misleading information, Poor communication and zero accountability. I would not recommend FlixBus if you need a service you can trust. Please know that “Tracking is never an excuse for sending misleading information”! Very poor services
