Extremely Unprofessional – False Promises & No Refund!

FlixBus rescheduled our ride to an absurd 4:15 a.m. without any prior intimation. We had no choice but to book a last-minute taxi for €140. I informed them immediately and requested only a refund of the original ticket (€35.95), without even claiming any damages. They promised a full refund in writing, but after endless delays, they now say they’ll refund just €16.95 or issue a €19 voucher – completely unethical and unacceptable! This is nothing short of daylight robbery. I’ve never experienced such dishonesty and poor customer service. Avoid FlixBus at all costs!

The bus driver drove off without me at a stop.

The bus driver drove off without me at a random gas station in Germany. Customer service on the phone did nothing for me, and they said a refund was out of the question. Thankfully, a nice couple saved my day by driving me all the way to Hamburg. This could easily have been avoided if the driver had counted passengers during stops and also respected the break time that they announced, which he didn't do on this occasion.

Disappointing support & misleading instructions – paid extra for nothing

I had to reschedule my FlixBus trip and had already paid extra cost to reserve a seat.After changing the date (at no extra cost), the system didn’t let me select a seat again — even though I had already paid for it — and I was automatically assigned a seat next to someone, despite many empty seats.I was issued a voucher instead of being allowed to reselect a seat.After contacting support, I was told I needed to cancel and rebook the same trip to apply the voucher to a seat selection.I followed that instruction — but during the new booking, the voucher only applied to the fare, not the seat, and the price had increased. So I had to pay more just to end up with the same issue: no seat selection.I explained this in over 10 emails with different staff members.Unfortunately, the replies often repeated the same incorrect information and never addressed my actual concern.Extremely disappointed by the lack of clear, informed support. I won’t be using FlixBus again.I kindly ask that you refrain from replying unless you can truly resolve this issue.

Chronic delays, broken toilets, malfunctioning air conditioners, cramped seats, baggage chaos, and the constant “treasure hunt” of finding the right departure stop — all of this I was willing to tolerate for the sake of FlixBus’s low prices.But here’s the real problem: sometimes the bus simply doesn’t show up. On June 6th, I had a ticket from Porto to Lisbon, scheduled for 15:00. Just a few minutes before departure, I checked the app and was shocked to see that the time 15:00 had been crossed out and replaced with 14:19 — as if the bus had already left 40 minutes early. Naturally, I assumed it was a glitch, especially since the station board showed a FlixBus to Lisbon at 15:00 with route number 1000. Everything seemed to line up. But when that bus arrived, it turned out not to be mine (apparently all Lisbon buses carry the same number 1000). The driver told me he had no idea where my bus was, said he was already late and in a hurry, and drove off.Looking back at the board, I saw no other Lisbon departures listed. At that point, the possibility that my bus had indeed left an hour earlier no longer seemed so impossible. I tried to find a FlixBus office at the station to clarify, but there wasn’t one. In the end, I had to buy a last-minute train ticket at a much higher price. I was lucky my hotel had a 24-hour reception and my flight was the following day — otherwise the consequences could have been far worse.When I got home, I submitted all the details and evidence through FlixBus’s online contact form. I never received any response.Upd: Apologies might be appropriate for chronic delays, broken toilets, and similar issues. But in this case, it feels more like a scam — you took my money and disappeared, ignored my messages, and only now send a generic apology while suggesting I should travel with you again. This comes across either as mockery or as complete indifference, possible only because you face no real consequences.

No payment on claim because of cancelation bus, I got a mail with permissioen to take a ataxi, and I did that, but no results in 2 month timeUpdate:You posted the following nonsense comment today, July 22, 2025. What's the point? Did you even read my comment? No one contacted me directly. I want my money, the money you promised for the taxi fare!

Very very disappointed.

Very very disappointed.I was traveling from Paris to London in flixbus on 4 june 2025. At boarder of France due to immigration check I lost my bus with my luggage inside the bus. I have many important documents and other stuff that are much necessary for me. I called their customer care department around 3 times but every time they say wait for 14 days. But they are unable to track my baggage. They should take care of customer's baggage but unfortunately we are very disappointed 😞.

Bus did not show, did not get money back and customer support does not respond

The bus did not show up. Got multiple emails saying different things, from it got a delay, to it's not departing, with finally one saying "disregard all previous emails, it's departing", just for it not to be there. Ended up having to take the train, which was much more expensive with 2 people. And when filling out a form on the Flixbus website asking for my money back for the Flixbus ride that never happened, and restitution of my train tickets. I simply never got an answer, even though it has been more than 2 months.

Worst Refund Experience Ever

FlixBus canceled my trip from Milan to Metz on 29 May 2025, and since then I’ve been chasing my own refund for months.They keep asking for my private bank statements — which I provided, even though it’s personal and confidential.They say:🟢 “We sent the money.” → No money in my account.🟢 “Ask your bank.” → My bank confirms no incoming transfer.🟢 “Oh wait, the transfer was canceled and refunded back to us.”🟢 “Check again with your bank.”WHAT??They never give proper proof that any money was sent — no transaction ID, no confirmation from their side, nothing. Just a loop of copy-paste replies, no accountability, no real help.All I’m asking is: send me my refund. That’s it. last min canalations and stolen luggage

on a trip to London, my bus got cancelled a few weeks before, but was rebooked with no issues, until less than 24h before it was cancelled again, but customer service said it was a mix up and had not been cancelled, i was not convinced as the bus was no longer listed on the website, i spoke to someone else who confirm it was cancelled, they rebooked be on an earlier bus meaning i ended up alone in london for a few hours, and on edge that the return bus might get cancelled, then on the way back, the bus driver was super rude to everyone, and my luggage got stolen, when i spoke to the driver (a different one as the drivers switched half way) was told that bags regularly get stolen at Finchley station and he could not help, both me and the police asked the company for cctv, they ignored me, and kept the police waiting too long so it had been delated, this trip was 6months ago and after flix asked for a list of the items in my bag all my other emails regarding compensation have been ignored,

As a last resort, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration at the complete lack of response to the multiple customer service requests I’ve submitted over the past several months.I originally contacted you on 21 May 2025 (Case No. 44834888) requesting assistance with merging three vouchers. After receiving no reply, I submitted a second request on 11 September (Case No. 47189275) and a third one on 19 September (Case No. 47327762), specifically asking for clarification on what the issue was and how to proceed.In the meantime, I reached out to your chat support. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide any useful information. One agent vaguely mentioned there was a problem with the vouchers but could not explain what kind of issue it was or how I could resolve it — instead, they simply told me to submit yet another ticket.Now, five months later, I still have not received a single proper response. This is not only disappointing but completely unacceptable. Half of the vouchers' validity period has already passed, and I’m left with no clarity, no resolution, and no support.Frankly, I feel ignored and humiliated by the total lack of attention given to my cases. I trusted FlixBus to provide basic customer service, but this ongoing silence shows an unacceptable level of neglect toward your customers.I kindly ask you to:Clarify the exact issue with my vouchers.Merge the three vouchers as initially requested.Extend the validity of the vouchers due to the delay caused entirely by your lack of response.I hope to receive a resolution without further delay.
