I was on bus with my sandals on, the bus driver and assistant rudely asked me for put my shoes on. During the bus journey i felt asleep and bus and like Others passengers i took my shoes off, they came and again they rudely asked me and shout at me for put shoes on again. Is there any policy where mentioned that passenger have to always wear shoes on.? And what a rubbish behaviour with tourists.

I had a trip booked from Newark NJ to Boston on 1st February 2026. The bus was cancelled 15 minutes before departure citing mechanical failure on the bus. This reasoning is suspicious as it happens quite frequently with flixbus. The customer care gave lies one after another from weather conditions to bus breaking down to mechanical failures on some parts of the bus. Their process to file a complaint on their website is laughable. There is no confirmation number or email confirmation once a complaint is filed. They record your customer care calls but cannot provide a copy of it when requested. If flixbus is reading this my booking number is 3323181517. I would like to know what was the exact mechanical failure on this bus. I wonder if they public their data on how many bus trips were cancelled due to mechanical failure or similar reasons in the last year.

However it should be clear flixbus do not refund tickets when the bus arrives at your destination 5 hours late. How they can legally essentially keep people hostage for 5 hrs on a bus is strange, had I and all the passengers known we would be late we could have taken alternative bus company or the eurostar train.

It is not acceptable your bus arrives at our destination 5 hrs late to Paris and you do not refund or make a gesture

I wish I could rate lower. No safety whatsoever.

I wish I could rate lower. There is absolutely no safety. The service stops at establishments run by unsavory individuals. I experienced abuse, was manhandled, and faced extreme hostility when addressing their poor service, especially late at night. The driver confirmed that they have agreements with these places and are unable to stop elsewhere, as the company receives commissions from them. I would never recommend this.

Mixed experiences with the bus drivers

The bus itself is excellent and features several drivers. However, the younger driver stands out as the best. In contrast, the older drivers tend to be more sensitive, occasionally raising their voices and using strong language.

Extremely disappointing service during a critical time

I experienced the worst service imaginable. I was meant to travel from one country to another amid escalating tensions, right along the travel path. The customer support was inadequate! I received no information about route changes and only vague responses, along with a link to general information on the website, poorly translated into the local language. If a client cancels their trip, they are offered a voucher that cannot be converted to cash and can only be used for purchasing a ticket from this unreliable service. There was no visible warning about this on the website.

A Frustrating Christmas Eve Experience

Imagine this: Christmas Eve at 9:45 pm, standing on the platform, waiting. No bus shows up, the journey planner is unhelpful, and the app has no updates. I had to walk back to my previous accommodation after 10 pm, ring the buzzer, and fortunately, I was let in. Finally, I see in the app that the trip was cancelled—AFTER the scheduled departure time—without any prior notice. I received a refund or rescheduling option, and I opted to reschedule for today. Quite an unusual Christmas, indeed. I can almost predict the company's response: "We apologize for your experience, we value feedback, and we aim to enhance your journey next time." If there’s even a next time!

Aggressive driving experience.

I’m 61 years old and have never encountered such a reckless bus driver before. While driving on the highway in heavy traffic, I was behind a bus that was heading to Boston. The driver was experiencing road rage and attempted to force me off the road three times, all while traveling at 80 MPH with a full bus of holiday travelers. It was terrifying. I can only imagine how the passengers felt. I certainly wouldn't trust a service that employs such a driver.

Disappointing Experience Again

Where do I even start? This is my second experience with the service, and once again I faced the same issues—waiting around for no apparent reason. There was no communication from the drivers. If you speak English, expect to be treated poorly and even yelled at. The drivers seem more focused on making extra money by picking up random passengers rather than following the scheduled stops. I even booked an extra seat for more legroom, but the driver gave it to someone else he just picked up. Additionally, we were supposed to arrive at our final destination on time, but due to random stops and long breaks, we ended up being delayed by an extra eight hours. To make matters worse, the driver was seen engaging in highly inappropriate behavior at the back of the coach, which was unprofessional and concerning, especially since the individual appeared underage. If you want to risk being late for your flight, waiting in random places, and receiving no support while being yelled at for speaking English, then this service might be for you.

Extremely disappointing transport experience.

This was an incredibly frustrating transport service. Our bus was over an hour late and ultimately did not arrive. When we reached out for help, we were blamed for the situation and disconnected by the support team, leaving us stranded in a city late at night far from home. I strongly advise against using this service.
