Great cheap way to travel, bus had broken down before it got to us but received text updates and details of replacement bus. Only delayed about 20 mins. One issue is when you book online they make it out that there is very few seats left which made us pay extra to choose seats to guarantee them. In reality the bus was 3/4 empty. In fact on the way back we booked premium seats on the top deck when in fact the bus was only single deck! This doubled our fare
I frequently travel on the Santiago–Porto route and the same issue always happens: the toilets remain locked on journeys of over 4 hours. This is a basic and essential service, and it feels inhumane not to have it available. The lack of care for passengers is unacceptable.
TERRIBLE, NEVER AGAIN. On 29 July 2025 Flix cancelled our tickets for a journey from Chamonix to Turin scheduled for 02 September 2025. Following the cancellation, a voucher was issued despite that we requested a cash refund. After many emails, to date (4 September) we have still not received our refund valued at €54.97. Flix has the audacity to ask us to prove we have not received the refund! Will never use them again!

I had one of the worst travel experiences with FlixBus. My bus from Los Angeles to San Francisco was delayed nearly 5 hours overnight (from midnight to 5 AM). As a solo traveler, I was stranded at Union Station in unsafe conditions, with rats, homeless people, and nowhere to go.I called customer support 6 times, but they gave me no real answers and even hung up on me 3 times. I ended up buying another ticket for $80, only to later find out the original bus left hours late without any notice. I also spent $50 more just to get through the night.Despite all this, FlixBus has offered no refund, no voucher, no compensation — just empty apologies. Customer support has been completely unhelpful.This was not a minor delay, but a failure of service and communication, and I cannot recommend FlixBus to anyone.
Travelled from Derby to London Victoria. The coach was modern, very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped with 2 usb ports for charging and free WiFi. The seats were clean and comfortable as well as the ride. The driver was friendly, courteous, competent and drove very wellThe price of the advance ticket was cheap and I upgraded to a reserved seat for a couple of pounds moreI preferred flix bus to national express which I had used on multiple occasions previously and their buses are looking a bit tired and dated now in comparison to flixbus
The driver wanted to leave four passengers behind at the service station in the middle of the night, and when I pointed it out to him, he literally attacked me. He had said it would be a five-minute break; I checked my watch, and we were just one minute late simply because there was a line at the checkout. When I came out, I saw the bus leaving, and I had to run after it all the way to the highway entrance past the gas station. Once on board, I pointed out to him that there were still three passengers paying, and he stood up to confront me face to face in a very aggressive manner, saying it was not his problem and that they could call a taxi. He was about to drive off again, and since I complained together with other passengers, he repeated the threatening behavior. Meanwhile, the passengers left behind literally had to run across the service area in the dark to reach us at the highway entrance, where we were stopped completely illegally. He put all of us in danger, and if we hadn’t protested, he would have left four people stranded in the middle of nowhere. I repeat: he was also extremely aggressive
Dubrovnik to budva montenegro..bus was something out of 1970's ,driver smoked constantly..seat belts didn't work..seriously poor standards and communication..complained to flixbus ,they wouldn't refund and promised to look into my complaint but never got a reply..avoid at all costs...
Absolutely disgusting experience with FlixBus. We had already paid online for extra baggage and were 100% within the limit, but the arrogant driver refused to let us board unless we paid even more. In the end, we were forced to pay for bags we didn’t even carry. That’s daylight robbery.The driver was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. To make things worse, he even left a passenger behind simply because they dared to complain. Is this how FlixBus treats paying customers?This company clearly doesn’t care about fairness or customer service if they’re hiring people like this. Shameful behavior, a total scam, and the worst travel experience I’ve ever had.I will NEVER take a FlixBus again, and I strongly warn others – avoid this company at all costs.PsIt has been a week since my complaint, and the only response I received from FlixBus was a few questions from their admin—likely just to add a reply here on Trustpilot. Unfortunately, no real action has been taken. I have not received a refund for the extra charge, nor have I seen any sign of disciplinary action against the driver involved.I’m very disappointed with the way this has been handled. At this point, it feels like FlixBus is more concerned about their public image than actually resolving customer issues. For me, it’s a definite NO to FlixBus.
Worst coach service ever I have ride.Me and my family 5 of us got into flux Bus from Edinburgh bus station to London Finchley Road on Tuesday, the 2nd of September 2025 @ 20.45 bu route number UKN10 almost 9 hours long journey they haven’t stopped for break anywhere during the journey two drivers both are very rude with the passengers and also behave quiet to racism unfortunate.Had a bad experience during the journey after the Newcastle there was a one stop to get new passengers and drop off both drivers had an argument with the man who waiting to get into the bus with his family finally the one of the Driver hit to the passenger and passenger fall into the floor after police arrive took almost 1 hour for the investigation.we never had such a bad experience like this ever. The drivers didn’t even apologise from the passenger what was happening?I recommend long journey drivers are Need more patient and also proper training. I will never book this bus again.
