The staff were very unpleasant and unhelpful, and the pilot on the return flight seemed incompetent. However, I want to point out that the first pilot, when we flew from Bratislava to Hurghada, was excellent.
Since the flight, I’ve had blocked ears, which is very uncomfortable. Overall, a very bad experience. Food was shit. The food was extremely poor — honestly, I would be ashamed to serve something like that to passengers. Never again. This is a terrible company.

One of the worst airline companies

One of the worst airline companies. Avoid at any cost! They postpone our flight from Cairo to Aswan due to sandstorms and we stated 10 hours at the airport without any information. In the meanwhile Egypt Air flew three times normally....

Air Cairo is the worst

Air Cairo is, without a doubt, one of the most irresponsible and frustrating airlines I have ever encountered. Passengers are being completely abandoned at Sharm El Sheikh airport with absolutely no assistance, no information, and no accountability.We have been left here for hours — since 1:30 in the afternoon, and it is now 7:30 — with absolutely no news whatsoever. Not a single representative from the airline has appeared to explain anything or take responsibility. Instead, all we see are constant delays being updated on the screens, with no real communication behind them.The overall treatment is appalling. The general attitude from airport staff is already poor, but the airline’s complete absence makes the situation even worse. There is no support, no guidance, and no reassurance of any kind. We have no idea if or when these flights will depart.This is not just bad service — it is a complete disregard for passengers.To anyone even considering booking a ticket with this airline: don’t. Avoid it at all costs. Choose literally any other option. This has been an unacceptable and exhausting experience, and without a doubt one of the worst travel situations I have ever faced.

The worst airline in terms of flight…

The worst airline in terms of flight delays and cancellations without any reason, just to scam customers. They also have the worst customer service. I absolutely do not recommend anyone book with Air Cairo.

Above average for low cost carrier

Positive aspects: fast check-in service (no waiting time), generous baggage policy, kind and friendly staff, very smooth flight and perfect landing.Negative aspects: seats not very comfortable, smoking in cockpit (electronic cigarettes). A lot of reviewers complain about smoking in cockpit. However, it is electronic cigarettes and pilots of other airlines are smoking too. I'd rather have a pilot who smokes but stays focused on flying the aircraft than a distracted pilot who is only thinking about his next cigarette.

Check-in counter agent performance

Checked in in person for the flight from CAI to MXP. Checking in agent had pleasant smile. However, when assign seats, she separate me and my wife even we checked in together. It was clear the the seat next to my wife was still available when we checked in (we had a group of 4, two couples, booked together). Furthermore, she separated my friend from his wife. And when we boarded the plane, there was an empty seat next to my friend’s wife. Not sure why the counter agent did what she did. Seems she needs some customer service training at least.

Co-Pilot selling cigarettes :-)

Announcement: "We will now start selling duty free cigarettes". The person pushing the cart down the aisle and handing out cigarettes is the Co-pilot. I think that's all that needs to be said about this airline. And not to forget, in 2025 they actually still smoke on international flights. It is a disgrace. Not to speak of anything, really anything else.
