We had the worst experience ever with Air Cairo. Our flight was delayed by over an hour due to overbooking and while the airline resolved the issue with fellow passengers. As a result, we had missed our international connection. Despite sending repeated emails asking for compensation for the extra cost of rebooking, the airline’s staff completely ignored our requests. Their lack of response was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I will never fly with Air Cairo again and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
The worse staff ever. 4 days trying to get the staff to book me a flight. Most numbers not working, office staff won't book flight. Sit and do nothing. One agent for all Egypt, who will take the booking. 3 days before they answered, flight had increased by then. Then they book wrong day, and now still waiting for them to reply.avoid at all cost. Flight might be cheap, but the cost of trying to use them and hours of time, they are not worth it
I was pretty afraid after reading all the bad reviews here but took the risk to book a flight with Air Cairo and it was all fine - they were well organized, on time and less strict with liquids and hand luggage that European low-cost airlines. 20 kg check-in luggage was included in the ticket price and there was a small snack onboard. They also quickly answered to my mail when I had queries (the only thing I didn't like was the lack of clear information on the website but they adressed it by mail)
Used Cairo air twice while in Egypt. Both flights delayed up to three hours with never any communication from the workers. They all appear to not care and as if they have never worked in an airport before. Pure chaos from boarding to getting luggage .
Worst airline I have ever encountered and I am a frequent flyer. On a flight my suitcase was torn, had holes, was dirty with oil, bended and was deemed irreparable. At the airport I filed the damage and have been told that there is every single day destroyed suitcases on Aircairo flights. My claim and request for payment (including provision of all details, report and pictures) has not received a resolution despite repeated follow-ups, and reminders. Tried over hours to reach the Cairo office, nobody ever picks up the phone. Airline refuses that they received a damage report (though I forwarded all again) and requested same information after weeks and ignoring all previous email send. The baggage claim handler in Cairo does not respond to my mails, chasers and reminders. My suitcase is destroyed and nothing happens. I made various official complaints through the official Aircairo complain page and also email, and despite repeating this and escalating it further the company did not react at all. They offer a contact form for complains and promise to get back and nothing happens. Not any response, not any call. This airline should not be allowed to operate.
Air Cairo is proving to be a prime example of unprofessionalism and complete disregard for their customers. I requested the cancellation and refund of my booking, submitting the request on November 11, 2024, within 24 hours of booking, as per their policy.Since then, I have sent dozens of emails to their official addresses, called their hotline multiple times, and even attempted to contact their Milan office. No response.The booking still appears active on their website, despite their own rules stating that cancellation should occur automatically after a refund request. Furthermore, the 21-business-day deadline for refunds, which ended on December 10, 2024, has been completely ignored.This situation is shameful and a clear example of poor customer service: they don’t respond, they don’t honor their own policies, and they leave customers stranded. It feels like Air Cairo is deliberately withholding passengers’ money.Advice: Avoid Air Cairo if you don’t want to deal with a company that treats its customers with arrogance and a lack of transparency.
I wish there is no stars to give.This is really one of the worst airlines. One month after booking my flight from Sharjah to Assiut, they sent me to cancel the flight without any alternative. And everyday I can see their advertisement about new aircrafts and new lines.Never trust this airline again
I don't recommend dealing with themI don't recommend dealing with them, a very bad company, I traveled through them, my bag was broken, with a price of $150, and I contacted them, and their response was unfortunately, we will not be able to compensate you. I advise everyone not to deal with them for their bad service
