How Breeze creates a problem for every solution.

I booked a two week vacation for my husband's upcoming birthday in February. We are going on a cruise from New Orleans, then upon our return, we were flying to Jacksonville to visit family in Florida, but really I planned a surprise party for him that begins at 6:00 p.m. We are arriving at the airport that morning at 9:00 a.m. from the cruiseport. We booked their 11:07 a.m. - 1:41 p.m. flight, which worked perfectly into our plans. In fact, I hadn't even began planning his party until after I booked the flight to know that we had plenty of time that day. Breeze notifies me via email that they changed our flight to one that departs over six hours later, and zero other alternatives. Or we could take a flight three days later, which is their next available flight. They do not have an actual person to talk to. ALL of their customer service agents are only available via text, using chatbots. They don't care about anything but profit!! Like an idiot, I booked with my Breeze Rewards, so that's all they are offering for the inconvenience. At least I purchased our Nicest Bundles via card, so we'll be getting $227 back. We are looking at flights on other airlines now, and of course, with very little time left, we may be able to find another flight within the time frame booked through Breeze, but of course, we're gonna pay - $820 one way from New Orleans to Jacksonville. It's obvious why the entire company hides behind text messages.

Flight was supposed to be to…

Flight was supposed to be to Greensboro. Flight was to Raleigh Durham instead, 8 hours late. They said it was bad weather but no other flights to the destination airport were affected. They did at least cover up to $150 in travel expenses, but just taking me to the right airport would have been much better.

Good luck if you lose your luggage flying Breeze

I flew from Norfolk Virginia to Pittsburgh, when I arrived to Pittsburgh I went to my designated carousel waiting for my suitcase, everyone that was on my flight got their suitcase and left, I waited and asked representatives from another airline that were making sure that the passengers from another flight that was getting their luggage in the same carousel if they knew where my lost luggage could be, I was informed that Breeze doesn't have a lost luggage area at the airport like all the other airlines do, there was another Breeze flight coming in in a few minutes minutes so they suggested to wait for it at the other carousel where it was announced and that a breeze representative should show up to make sure everyone gets their luggage, well everyone got their luggage but no one from Breeze ever showed up. I went to the Departures desk upstairs just to find out that everyone had left, I spent over an hour around the carousel where my suitcase was supposed to arrive and trying to find any kind of information where it could be while my girlfriend waited for me in her car. I finally decided that my suitcase was lost and got on line through their messages system to report my lost suitcase assuming it will be found and brought to my girlfriend's place over an hour away drive just like most decent airlines do. But no! I get a message back saying that my suitcase was left at the carousel which was the biggest lie because I waited there over an hour until luggage from another airline was delivered at the same carousel, I walked all around that carousel several times and my suitcase was never left there! To make it worse I am told that I can go and pick it up at the Breeze counter and I am given a list of specific days and time frames when I can do so since that is the only times someone from Breeze will be there. After having to wait for another day because they were not there the day I got the text and driving back to the airport for over an hour when I get there they were booking a flight and there is a long line so I cut in and told the employees that I was there to get my suitcase and showed her the text message, you would think that someone immediately would be running to get my suitcase, but no! And I am asked to wait until they finish booking that flight before they can go and get it. After they finished booking the flight passengers for their next flight start arriving and they start booking them, at this point I have been there for about an hour so I got on line behind 6 passengers and before the line got bigger and when it was my turn, I showed the text on my phone again and demanded my suitcase and stated that I had waited for the previous flight to be booked and had been waiting for at least an hour. At this point an employee finally went across to wherever they had stored my suitcase and brought it to me. No apologies nothing ¿like if it was my fault and I had just left my suitcase there. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN and I use to fly with them all the time, now I look for another options even if it is going to cost more or take longer, at least I will be treated properly and will be able to call a number and talk to someone or go to their lost luggage area at the airport instead of dealing with what I did and not even getting at least an apology and an explanation of why my suitcase was not there instead of saying that it was left at the carousel which if it was then it came out at another carousel not anywhere close to the one where it was supposed to be.

Avoid Breeze Airways at all costs...

Breeze Airways is hands down the worst airline I've ever had the misfortune of flying with—avoid Breeze Airways at all costs if you value your time, money, or sanity. From the moment I booked my ticket on Breeze Airways, it was a nightmare of hidden fees, deceptive pricing, and outright Breeze Airways scams that left me feeling ripped off. Their so-called "affordable" fares are nothing but bait-and-switch tactics; once you add in the Breeze Airways baggage fees and seat selection charges, it's more expensive than major carriers, and the service is abysmal. The Breeze Airways customer service is nonexistent—rude representatives who couldn't care less about your issues, long hold times that lead nowhere, and no resolutions for Breeze Airways flight delays that ruined my entire trip. Their only customer service is a website page peoudly stating they have no one you can call, but only a # to text. Zero communication, no apologies, and Breeze Airways refused to compensate us despite promises on their website. The planes are cramped, outdated, and Breeze Airways maintenance seems questionable—seats that don't recline properly, dirty cabins, and a general sense of Breeze Airways unreliability that makes you wonder if they'll even get you to your destination safely.Don't fall for the Breeze Airways hype; it's all marketing smoke and mirrors hiding a Breeze Airways disaster waiting to happen. I've flown budget airlines before, but Breeze Airways takes the cake for being the most incompetent, unprofessional, and Breeze Airways fraudulent operation out there. Save yourself the headache and never book with Breeze Airways—choose literally any other airline instead. Breeze Airways complaints are everywhere for a reason; this company deserves to go out of busines. s. Zero stars, and I mean it.I hope this business is non-existent with in the year.

Credit Card Fraud

I reported someone used my credit card to purchase a ticket on breeze. They verified my card and the person flying who purchased the ticket. They then informed me that I needed to contact the person who is on the ticket to get my money back. Are you freaking kidding me and this was all communicated via text to breeze. I have never flown breeze and I strongly suggest you run far as you can from this airline. I contacted my CC company also and CC took immediate action. Breeze took no action and let person fly.

Abysmal!

Round trip flight severely delayed both coming and going. The worst was the sheer lack of communications. On the return flight, radio silence when waiting for 2 hours at the gate, then all passengers boarded and sat on the plane with the jet bridge up (15 minutes), pushed away from the gate and sat on the tarmac (45 minutes), got to the first stop and sat on the tarmac again for 40 minutes as no gate was available. Then at 1 a.m. Breeze pushed out the worst email, poorly formatted, ungrammatical, and barely coherent. I talked to other passengers who said they've flown this airline before and there are ALWAYS delays. I only purchased a round-trip ticket because it was direct. Yes, all airlines have delays some time or another, but Breeze's total absence of professionalism makes me doubt their competency to operate a plane. If they are incapable or unwilling to make announcements in the event of delays, would they be able to figure out how to notify passengers in the event of an emergency??? Next time, I'll fly a real airline, even if I do have to make a layover. The time expended would still be shorter than attempting to fly on Breeze, which is so NOT a Breeze.

Horrible Customer Service Experience — Never Flying Breeze Again

If I could give zero stars, I would. Breeze Airways completely failed us this morning. My stepmother showed up to the Charleston airport 30 minutes before her domestic flight, only to find no one at the Breeze counter to assist her with check-in or baggage drop. We were stunned. Every other airline has a human being available at their counter — but not Breeze.Even worse, there’s no way to speak with a live person—everything is done through an impersonal texting system. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told I was already speaking to one — via text. Completely unacceptable. They claimed she missed the 45-minute check-in window, but she was there 30 minutes before departure and no one was available to help her. So basically, if you don’t arrive exactly when they want (or earlier), you’re out of luck — even if you’re standing there with no staff in sight. This wasn’t just any flight — it was my stepmother’s birthday, and she had driven over an hour to the airport. She hadn’t seen us in over two years, and this was supposed to be a joyful reunion. We had booked her flight last minute because she originally planned to drive the full distance herself, but it was too much for her to do alone. So we bought her a ticket — only to have her stranded at the airport with no help, no options, and no accountability from Breeze. They refused to rebook, refund, or take any responsibility — instead, they blamed us for not arriving two hours early (on a domestic flight!) even though their counter wasn’t staffed and they provided no warning or flexibility. This was a devastating experience for our family. Breeze doesn’t deserve your business. Never flying with them again, and I’ll be sharing this story everywhere I can so others don’t go through the same nightmare

ALWAYS late on Arrival gate. Assigned Gate is NEVER Ready!

Breeze has some VG prices and some OK upgrades, but EVERY time (6 different times and 4 different airports), the ARRIVAL has always been delayed. Breeze is pretty good at departing a gate, but every time we have tried to land in JAX or LAX or Norfolk, VA or Portland, ME the assigned gate has NOT been ready to receive us! Every damn time!! Tonight we landed in JAX coming from LAX and we actually touched down about 8 minutes early.......but our gate already had a plane at it, so we were told to wait on the taxi-way. Then the plane that was at OUR gate had a mechanical issue, so we were told we would be "routed" to another gate. That never happened, as 50 minutes later, we were able to pull up to the original gate assigned to us. 50 minutes of just waiting on the damn tarmac. It also happened BOTH times we flew Breeze into LAX. It happened when we flew from JAX to Portland, ME.......and then damn if it didn't happen again when we returned to JAX. Really Breeze???? You keep passengers waiting 50 minutes (on this latest flight), and EVERY other time we have flown on Breeze? We like the pricing and the upgrades, but you have GOT TO correct this arrival gate crap!!!!
