Review Time
For over 2 weeks now I've been waiting for 'FMG' to call me back regarding a 'Hire Car' they're supposed to get me as they allocated a garage to do my repairs that don't have a courtesy car!. I was then told that I'd have to contact Tesco's who my car insurance is with, Tesco then told me I'd then get a call from 'FMG' regarding this & guess what two days later I'd not had any call ! After waiting for this phone call I called them & waited on the phone for 45 minutes until they answered to be told they've contacted their car hire company & were waiting for a car's availability (I could call 'Enterprise' & have a car here in one hour). Now I'm waiting for another 'Call' from 'FMG' to tell me the update on that situation (that's maybe in a weeks time if I'm lucky) This isn't brain surgery it's a car insurance claim, I've been in business over 30 years, & if I'd have acted in the same way as these people I'd have been in business for two months. I could go on in detail after detail but I won't.I just wish their 'Rate your recent experience started with a zero instead of one', as that would be more relevant. (Maybe they should change their trading name to 'Micky Mouse & Co'), but I think that's already spoken for?Carl
FMG are currently meant to be dealing with the insurance claim for damage on my car. I was assured the car would be booked in to be fixed within a number of days, however 6 weeks later I'm still awaiting repair.I've called FMG repeatedly over the past 6 weeks for updates, and have been promised call-backs on multiple occasions which have not materialised. After being told for the 6 weeks that the hold-up was coming from Alliance insurance, I was then told my case hadn't been passed on to Alliance at all. Having been forced to deal with Alliance directly, they've just confirmed that they authorised repairs weeks ago, which would have meant my vehicle could have been fixed by now. FMG have proved themselves completely useless on this occasion and as a result have wasted a lot of my time and energy.
I was very impressed with how quick and easy the process was using this insurance company. After having a small accident the garage had my car fully fixed in just a few days. The whole process was done and dusted within 10 days.
