A fantastic service start to finish. Very understanding of my circumstances and went above and beyond to make arrangements for my car to be collected as soon as possible with a courtesy car arriving even before repair works took place. Great communication throughout the process. Great service 5 stars !!!
Once my car was with FMG I have no complaints. It was dealt with much quicker than I was originally told and returned looking like new. However after waiting initially an hour for it to be picked up I tried contacting them to make sure I hadn’t been forgotten and had no reply from any phone number for all that time, which for that size of company I wasn’t impressed. Then tried email which was answered quickly and courteously. Maybe they just need more staff..
The worst Insurance approved company in the U.K . 5/11/2023 document this. If your insurance company works with these guys. Pay a bit extra change your insurance company. 12 days. No reply. No replacement vehicle. Sent me a claim number so they can maximise on claiming money off the insurers. I insured a 85k vehicle. 12 days later. Zero response. They do not care at all.. please avoid this company . I write this with sincerity as I have been messed about on a different scale. Literally. Recovery and FMG repairs are 4 miles apart and they can't arrange a vehicle collection. What makes sense is. They're wanting to claim more money. Horrible company. The worst I've ever dealt with. You rather deal with a Asian call centre or company abroad the worst. FMG and Aviva insurance . Horrible . Aniz Bhad
WORSE SERVICE EVER, reported a hit and run on my car that left my car undriveble, Tesco Insurance assigened FMG to take care of the service and car replacement, after 5 days my car was still on the side of the road and no replacement car, spent around 8 hours on the phone during those 5 days with FMG, the job had been declined 3 times by different garages, I asked for a replacement car asap as I needed one, FMG advised that it cannot be done and they cannot make a standard hire as Tesco doesn't approve it, this was a lie, called Tesco right away and they facilitated my a car hire through Auxillis and said that the bill will be sent to FMG(got the car the next day btw). Anyway, 2 days later, that's 7 days after the incident I called FMG again to see when will they take the car to fix it, that same day they called me back advising that a recovery truck will come and take the car to a garage in Bolton (H-Samson) they gave me the details of the garage and all, at that point I was finally relieved as at least the car was on the way to get fixed, boy I was wrong. Called the garage the next day, they said the car never arrived and it was never booked for a service, and that on the same day when FMG called them they advised FMG that they have no capacity to take on the job. So FMG lied when they said the garage agreed on the job, called FMG again to explain me the situation and all they said is that the car is in a storage facility waiting for a garage to accept the job, even now I have no idea where my car is or when will I get it back fixed. Again, worse service ever, at least I got a replacement car for the time being, but to get one in this situation you have to spend hours on the phone and making complains right and left.
The portal requires to be a bit clearer and up to date with what was going on with the repairs and provision of a rental car. My experience on whole was very good as communication by telephone was clear and consistent. Repairs were very straightforward and detailed accordingly.
Our insurance company used FMG to handle the repairs to our car. Sara and the team were absolutely fantastic in terms of sending regular updates, so at no stage did I not know what the status was with the repair to the car. From collecting the car to returning, the team were extremely professional and polite. The car was returned like I had just bought it and even had performed a thorough cleaning of the inside of the car to an exceptional level. Thank you for doing a fantastic job
