Review Time
after 3 telephone calls and been transfer to 3 to 4 different people having to repeat my identity each time trying to organize a disconnect and reconnection at a new address and being told that the technician was a free service because we had been a customer for nearly 20 years we then find out later after another call (25 minutes wait time !)and 3 different people that the service had not being booked in and it would cost us $135. The language barrier is terrible an very frustrating. All I could hear was background noise of children and street music while on hold. Why pay a extremely high price for very poor support.
where do i start.. just so bad that i can't to go into detail.. would be here longer than i was on the phone to them..close to 3 hours 5 calls, cut off twice and on hold for at least 1hour in between..still no joy and still looking at blank screen!?!..the c/s guy actully told me that there was nothing he or i could do about this and he couldn't disconnect me so i would have to just accept it!??!
Whatever happened to rewarding loyal ongoing customer, they only offer cheap packages for new customers which is extremely annoying. I called foxtel today only To be advised they can’t offer me any other plan than what “the system is guided by” I am on a platinum and that’s the best deal they can do for a 20+year customer, wouldn’t even upgrade my iq3 box for free.. Disgusting way to run a business
Tried to cancel my subscription, was on the phone for 40 minutes as the Customer Service representative repeated “BUT WE HAVE GAME OF THRONES” I then reply that “I do not care in the slightest about any of these shows, I would like to cancel” for them to reply “BUT WE HAVE HOUSE OF CARDS” and then proceed to read out every TV show on the platform. After finally being able to cancel, i’ve had 2 calls since with representatives telling me they can offer me the same plan I was originally on for $70 less a month… to which I reply, no thank you. For them to respond with “BUT WE HAVE GAME OF THRONES” Honestly cannot wait to see the back of them. Absolute shambles.
Currently on hold to cancel my Foxtel … it’s been 1 hr and 20 mins … want to hang up but I also want the boxes cancelled … haven’t turned Foxtel on now for 2 mths .. I think it can go …. Sick of not being able to talk to anyone at Foxtel … wish I could run my business this way and still get paid .. 🙄
published 7 minutes agoIncompetent.Very costly.Don’t waste your money.Netflix is cheaper and a lot better.Moved house, unable to have where moved. They were told that they will have a repeated loyal customer (12 months at most) who gets one of the highest packages in multiple rooms.Was told that I have to pay a courier for it to be delivered to them or be inconvenienced to go out of your way to send for free.Annoying as was easier and didn’t have to pay when received.Have to pay one month after canceling. Read the T&C’s recommended.This after 16+ years and transferring one account that was my partners to them (giving another customer).I specifically requested not to receive promotional and advertising material from them. I continued to get them.Was very keen to get again when moved from where I am in 12 months time but not now!See ya Foxtel, cheaper services out there.
Chat Bots, no response on Facebook or messenger, no email address, no help on phone as they put you on hold and never answer.Same adverts shown up to 8 times in a row.Constant buffering even on high speed internet connection.Constant "we will be right back" indication a technical issue.Cancelling foxtel account, cheaper to sign up for 15 other streaming networks.Hopefully foxtel will claim bankruptcy very soon, they claim that they have not made 1 cent profit in all the years they have been operating.They are a scam company that is allowed to continue ripping people off. Scams are supposed to be illegal in Australia, yet companies like foxtel break the laws everyday with no consequences!
