Foxtel is absolutely hopeless.

Foxtel is absolutely hopeless when it comes to customer support you spend a ridiculous amount of time waiting to talk to someone then all they do is remotely reboot the device then leave you with a defective device they should have a minus five star rating and even then that would be too generous.

Currently been on hold now for 1hr & 12…

Currently been on hold now for 1hr & 12 mins. Haven't had fox for nearly 3 days now. Have an f0100 but have no internet to get help online. Got cut off 5 times due to "unknown error". What the heck is wrong with these people? Each time I try to explain any problem, the person on the other end can't seem to grasp the Aussie accent. Absolutely pathetic service. Oh, get more staff & change that damn music to something where you don't want to driwn your poor phone in the sink!!!

Foxtel IQ3 to IQ4 Horrendous Customer Service!

I was supposed to have my IQ3 box replaced with an IQ4 box and satellite dish (due to the cable network closing down). I waited 3 weeks for an appointment and took the day off. The technician arrived today with an IQ4 box but no satellite dish! He said that the call centre did not schedule it correctly and that he would organize a digital antenna to be installed free of charge. He said the install would be in a couple of days and that someone would contact me. In the mean time I would not have access to free to air channels! I asked if he could put back my IQ3 box and he said no! I called Foxtel to find out what went wrong and of course got a call centre person who could not tell me anything. I asked for a supervisor, but was given the Australian call centre. Apparently, the request for a digital antenna was not received! The guy told me that the next available schedule would be in 3 weeks! Comedy of Errors! Foxtel, you need to get your shop in order! I have just a days wages waiting for something to be installed today. Now I have a disruption of service. Terrible experience!

The holier than now attitude of Foxtel…

The holier than now attitude of Foxtel about Exporting jobs overseas, and exploiting cheap labour.As a consequence, customers here in Australia are treated with contempt and shifted off to overseas call centres, where English is not their first Language. You spend hours on chat windows trying to articulate your issues, month after month. Still can not get the account right despite you paying the agreed subscription every month and agreeing to pay any extra upon receipt of a transaction report of what was incurred and when. Despite my subscription being paid monthly by the periodical, I am sitting here in the dark fasting prior to surgery today and my complete Foxtel and interconnected free to air channels have been disconnected. As a 70-year-old, and if I did not want to access Paul Murray and similar Journalists of this ilk. I would have long ago Dumped Foxtel. Those thinking of subscribing to Foxtel are there others who actually provide similar services and employ Australian support staff and actually offer Service?Account Details John Riseley

Can't get onto anyone at foxtel

Can't get onto anyone at foxtel. Been trying to call all afternoon. On hold so many times it's ridiculous. They must think you have nothing to do all day. Lucky i wasn't working today. No progress, have given up. Will not get foxtel again

Terrible service and customer support

Terrible service and customer support. I signed up for the Foxtel free trial and was unable to cancel the subscription before the end of the trials subscription ( the link on my online account did not work to cancel)- Foxtel then went on to charge me for the next month. When I tried to get on to someone to find out what had happened there was no one available to help me. After a week when I was finally able to get on to someone, they advised me they were unable to help me as I hadn’t cancelled in time and I was liable for the full fee. The agents were rude and unhelpful - I do not recommend them and the ‘Support’ they offer as part of their service is ridiculous

Save your money

So first of all I’ll talk about the positives… Foxtel do offer a lot of content, with exclusive TV shows and movies occasionally , Not to mention sports if that’s your thing and news . Unfortunately, for what I’m about to say I may sound like I’m a racially prejudice person… But I am not , The phone operators for help support can barely speak English ! A constant source of frustration for me . When the new IQ decoder was upgraded, I found it was buggy and glitchy - Once again I get back to the customer support, I couldn’t understand anybody on the other end of the line so none of these issues were truly resolved . Frankly, I find other services like Netflix or even Disney+ far better value for money … so that it else where .

Disgusting lying patronising Company with no moral compass

I am a disabled person in a wheelchair who watches a lot of tv - it is something I rely on.The conduct of Foxtel over the years has given me nothing but stress, disappointment and contributed to my lack of faith in human nature.Everytime I have engaged with them (if I am even able to get through after huge lengthy waits) I get foreign speaking people I can barely understand.I was disconnected from Foxtel because when I rang to complain about yet another issue apparently I told them I wanted to be - which is an outright lie. I then spent 45 minutes waiting and 1 hour 20 minutes talking to them.I was told if I wanted to get reconnected I had to pay a $35 connection fee and the package I was on would be another $20 a month as they could not on their system give me the same package they had offered a month before because I was now a new client.Also I lost everything on my IQ and I would never get back what I had saved.The service from Foxtel is beyond unacceptable and the staff are patronising, difficult to understand. The repeated phrase every call "I understand your situation Madam" is condescending and presumptuous. How the hec would they know what life with disabilities and being in a wheelchair is like and relying on tv?Do yourself a huge favour and don't ever sign up with them

DO NOT get Foxtel NBN.

Ok, so after having no-one turn up for a March 4 NBN connection installation (and no email, call nor message), we rang back to re-book.. so on Monday 11th the technician turned up this time and installed the NBN, however it didn't work (Foxtel issues not tech).. I was told to ring Foxtel yet again.. after a lengthy wait on hold, I was told they would resolve the problem within "24-48 hours".. 50 hours later still not internet so I once again rang back, only to have the service centre person it could be another 3 days before the issue is resolved. However with tomorrow being Good Friday and then the Easter weekend, I am thinking "three days" could turn into another 5 or 6 at least.. of not being able to work from home and not being able to use my security cameras and other smart lights and devices. DO NOT get Foxtel NBN. Zero care given by Foxtel for after sales service and problems. I've submitted a complaint to the Telecommunications Ombudsman. Let's see if this gets resolved before next week! Not happy!!

The worst company I've ever dealt with

Do not sign up with Foxtel. They are absolutely horrendous to deal with and they make cancelling your subscription as hard as they can. The issue I had with them was never resolved, even after many phone calls to them and hours in total spent on hold. They owe me money but it's not worth the stress to pursue it anymore.
