foxtel has gone back 30 years

with the switch to the new iq5 my TV experience has gone back 30 years. relying on an antiquated tv arial now rather than a cable connection what a farce. And the connection to wifi is a complete shambles with the picture constantly dropping out. after all these years with foxtel there is no point in continuing and will cancel the subscription if they dont fix this

They aren't happy till your not happy.

Foxtel's motto is (from my experience) is: "We are not happy till your not happy."Don't bother with the 131 999 they don't answer that. Try 02 9813 6000 (2) and tell them you have a complaint. They will at least try to get you to someone who speaks English.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Very difficult to understand the people on the phone and I was told it’s my problem I can’t understand.Every year they increase the rates with a vague message saying “rates may increase” but you don’t know how much by until you receive the bill.Over priced, less and less sports and channels and cost goes up each year.

I’m very unsatisfied with the quality of the picture since they changed from cable, you can see background interference, it’s supposed to be a clear picture with iq 3, it isn’t, I’ve been considering cancelling it

No email facility

We have had Foxtel on for a while for TV service. Last week while I was away in the country and difficult to contact they phoned my husband and attempted to sell him a "faster NBN connection". He accepted the offer and then believing we could now use that for our emails, attempted to cancel our TPG account. He phoned TPG and tried to cancel our account but luckily they texted the access number to approve of the cancellation to MY phone. TPG then texted me and asked if I had requested this and if not would I please phone them immediately. Which I did, and thankfully put an end to any possible cancellation. I use my TPG email constantly to run a couple of businesses, several properties, service contracts, registrations, insurances, and so forth. What Foxtel DOESN'T tell you is they have no email service. They didn't tell him that. I could have been out of pocket by hundreds of dollars or more if the cancellation had gone ahead and hundreds of hours trying to re-establish my contacts. So why didn't he confirm with me first? I am sure every woman asks that question at times. I was in the country and hard to contact and he had no idea that I couldn't just change over to Foxtel for my emails. I am nonetheless furious. The potential for damage is enormous when Foxtel does not give full information about what they DO NOT provide when selling this service.

Ads, repeat’s

Ads, ads, ads, repeats, repeats, repeats, serious is this the best you can do? I can watch adverts for free on free to air if I was brainless enough to want to, as for the Irritating Answerphone when you try to ring them. These guys are Pants. Good buy Foxtel

Very disappointed with Foxtel I had subscription for years same reruns on foxtel classics Mchales navy Beverley hilbillies Hogans heroes The munsters the money you pay foxtel never changes to new classics such a waste of money thinking very seriously of not having foxtel anymore such a rip off

Great technician!

Last week we had to upgrade our Foxtel to a Dish plus Aerial.We knew it was a difficult task as new cables had to be distributed through loft in 2 storey house & another underneath foundations.Sam had to spend many hours solving this problem but after plan A plan B were abandoned he did it from plan C.Lots of difficulty inside roof & under house but task was completed very satisfactory.As an observer I thought the amount of time spent photographing safety measures etc & sending back to office was excessive & wasted a fair amount of time on actual installation.Just my opinion.All in all a very satisfactory installion by a very thorough technician.Jim.(Sam technician AO 366)

I had signal issues and found their…

I had signal issues and found their online chat very helpful. I was given 3 dates for a technician to come out for the service. They were in constant contact with their arrival time. Justin the technician arrived as expected and he was great . Very polite, friendly and fixed my problem without any issues. Thank you Foxtel
